In terms of a strike or attempt to correct the market, one thing to keep in mind is that the posters on this board are way outnumbered by those who do not post but take advantage of those who do post. If I recall, A2 once said they estimate non posters outnumber us by about 4 or more.

To some guys paying $30-40 more per visit doesn't matter all that much. It does to most of us though.

To those who are not concerned, please help the rest of us. You certainly wouldn't want an overall economic market to go uncorrected.

I'm an exclusive UTR guy at this point but I'm in total support of what many guys are saying here. If you are a lurker, please give everyone else a little help to bring things back a bit.

Price gouging is not really a good thing in any market in the long run.

For those who post frequently and report on the good, the bad and the ugly I really appreciate what you have brought to the table. I have just found this forum and found it my go to for references. It has confirmed which providers I will see, and for the most part what I can expect. However the number one use of this forum is the degree of safety it provides an inexperienced pup like myself. That major issue although not eliminated is certainly reduced, and for that I thank you. So I for one have been asking price and requesting a reduction based on other "salaries" that are out there. One issue I have with that is time. I don't have a lot of free time to travel 30/40 minutes one way, have my fun and drive back another 30/40 minutes. I also like to duck into a shower before I see my significant other, so we are looking at 2. 5 hours out of the day. I just don't get that many days to do it. So my issue is I take what is available to me based on quality over price. I have tried setting a time two or three days in advance and get crickets when the time is approaching. I can't wait for them to finish their customer so they will call me back because they don't. So it's contact next person on list. At this point price is secondary.

I understand I don't have the name recognition, I am at the stage of trying multiple ladies, and not a repeat customer. The ladies I call do a volume business (no I don't believe they are low volume by choice) so it's first up first served. I'm in the same category as the mongers who call and don't show up, or stiff the provider for services provided. It reflects poorly on all of us, so appointments are not kept by the ladies. Secondly for those of you that have earned their stripes, congratulations, you earned them and the names of the UTR providers it gives you. It is my understanding that these ladies will be more responsible about keeping dates for those of you blessed with their phone numbers because you have earned it.

So for those contributors to the forum I will try to negotiate price. I will always be conscientious of the providers time and make appointments, so others after me will not feel the wrath of a jilted provider. If I am running late I will notify provider of the expected arrival time. However if I am jilted I'm on the clock and planning is not my little heads strong suit.
