There was a short period of time in Providence right after the spa's won the court case and just before the law change and hammer went down. Admiral and Main street were packed. Especially Admiral, I remember several occasions waiting in the lounge sitting with other mongers, few of us talked, the temptation to say Jackson and see who replied was strong but never did it. A lot of guys when brought to the room just looked in, said no and left.

That and Olde English were my introduction. It use d to be low key no sign except on the door next to the Dunkin. Walk up the steps ring the bell. Maureen, Pam. Gina, Bating suits, one or two piece, high heels. I always hated waiting in the room with other mongers. Good times were had when you were taken through the hidden door by the showers. I knew it would come to an end when they decided to put that huge sign on the building.
