St Pete's finest had their bus parked in the lot next to the new Goodwill on 34th st and 24th ave all day today. With like 50 marked and unmarked cars parked in the lot coming and going. After rush hour, all disappeared and no marked cars in sight. Saw 4 uniformed officers with no patrol cars in sight, standing in the parking lot of Big Lots not too far away talking to a white female mid to late 30's. Didn't recognze her, might have been one of their decoys. No SW's anywhere in sight. They were out in Lealman. But nothing worth picking up.

Be careful out there. Seems as if they are on task here lately!

So how do you pick up without the talking thru the window? Just a look and they get in? How would you handle this situation when you see a SW and you want to scoop? THanks again. I get it, but never really thought about this rule.

I usually don't talk to them at all. I don't even roll down the window unless I want to get a better look. I just give them a quick glance, a smile, and stop. If they're too stupid to just open my door and get in on their own, I pass -- unless I REALLY want this particular girl. Then if she's a little hesitant, I'll do the "do you need a ride" thing.

Also, if I'm not absolutely sure I want to scoop, I start with the doors locked. The first time she pulls the handle and it doesn't work, she'll usually look in the window at you. At that point, I decide whether to unlock the door or drive off.

If she goes out of her way to not let you see her face, drive off! She might either be a tranny or a girl who's uglier than a tranny or no teeth or some other reason you wouldn't want her to get in your car.

I generally keep my doors locked until the very last second.

Yep, the only time I almost got busted I was breaking the "no talking through the window" rule. I was definitely talking to a cop through the window of my car one time a few years back. Fortunately, all kinds of alarm bells were going off in my head and at some point I said something like "you know, I was sitting here minding my own business when you walked up to my car and started chatting with me. I don't know what you want, but I am busy and don't really have time to talk to you". She was definitely walking the line of trying to bait me, but in reality, she was correct in what I was looking for and had I said the wrong thing at any time, I would have been in bracelets. After that day, I never EVER break the rules.

So, I didn't realize who I was picking up last night until after the deed was done, but I lucked out. I should have remembered the posts on the board because I had to circle a few times before she figured out that she had to ditch the boyfriend before I would approach. The duo was walking around 35th St N. and and 3rd Ave N. I started to approach to pick up this cutie and then bozo boyfriend started walking up, so I drove two blocks away and just watched. They had a conversation and although he really wanted to follow, she apparently convinced him not to. I guess they were broke and actually needed to EARN some money.

So, Whitney approached and I let her in. Loser boyfriend was 2 blocks away at the time watching. Since I didn't trust this guy, I drove north of 38th Ave N. before choosing a spot. I wanted to be more than a 20 minute walk away.

I did not get scammed. I did not get robbed, and Whitney actually gives one hell of a good blowjob. I mean, really good!

However, I will definitely have my guard up if I ever pick her up again, which after reading this board is unlikely. I just think I probably lucked out last night.

They show up to your spot, where ever your spot is and no matter how well hidden you think you are. And because you're well hidden there's almost no chance that anyone is going to find you to help you out of this sticky situation. Just some food for thought. Hasn't happened to me. Probably hasn't happened to any of you. But that doesn't mean it hasn't or couldn't happen. Scary idea. Be sure of who you are picking up. If your 6th sense tells you that you should pass, then pass. The only times I've had a bad time have been when I ignore that little guy on my shoulder that tells me not to pick someone up. I'm really good at that; when I listen to myself.

On Thursday or Friday from 10 AM. Mid afternoon, but we need to be vigilant during all mongering safaris! The 22 Rules for street mongering need to be understood; particularly rule #9. 90% of the arrests happen when the monger ignores this 'rule' Also we need to be well aware of our surroundings and who might be watching us when scooping a 'walker'. St Petersburg (and other agencies as well) sometimes has one or more surreptitious officers watching a particular worker as she 'walks'. They watch her because they know she's likely to be picked up by one of us!! After she's scooped, they discreetly follow the vehicle she's in to wherever it is parked. They will wait a few minutes and then pounce on the both of them!

I don't yet know where the action happened this past Saturday, but I'll know in a few days. However, previous stings have mostly been on 34th St at 16th Ave where the Cactus Motel is. They've also been doing some on 35th St at 16th Ave behind the Cactus. Sometimes they will move further north as well to 34th St at 34th Ave and 33rd St there as well. Also at the Circle K area of 5th Ave and and 34th or 35th st!!

If we all stay alert, follow the rules and cautiously have fun; we won't have unwanted bracelets on our wrists! Here's the 22 rules:

There are stings going on I guess still by what I am reading, I got caught little over two months ago. Won't go int details, but it was behind the catcus motel half block away from speedway. I was dragged out of me vehicle by 4 of st pete finest, arrested for prostitution, they took my veh. Went to jail for two days. Automatic charge of $500 to get the veh back, $170 at tow yard, now dealing with looking for an attorney. They just changed the law, you can get fined $5000, and up to a year in county, 6 months probation. So I look between what attorney costs and what I paid out it will be over 5 k anyway, plus community service of about 30 hours. Court date coming up, be careful ya'll.

Anyone knows details about Saturdays sting area, 3 fell for the pigtricks. SPigD never did this on weekends, it was always weekdays 8 AM-4 PM! Is this some new tactics.
