These massage places come and go based on economics more than anything.

Look at the neighborhood were Asian pearl was, kind of a run down poor area. Not particularly easy for most people to get to. Pretty much off the beaten path, so I'm sure that had something to do with it. My previous visits, it was never that busy, so I don't know how successful of business venture it was. And a lot of times it's beyond the owners control anyway, if the lease is up and the landlord doesn't want to renew. There's a lot of possible factors so it's hard to speculate for sure.
