I see no issue with you ladies asking for references. Most of you already know each other and talk all the time, anyway. I know that for a fact.

As far as safety, you do what you need to do and asking references is as easy as it gets. If he won't do that just give it a minute and take the next call.

That said, I get edgy and will not send a copy of my driver license or give a SP the name of my employer.

I've always suspected it comes from the providers who are always hitting up clients for more meetings / money. If they know you visited someone else after telling them you were "too busy" or didn't have cash then they flip out on you.

Personally I cut those kind of providers off ASAP when they start getting pushy, but I can understand if someone doesn't have a lot of options that work for them then they'd want to keep them from knowing.

It's not a winning move to let oneself get pushed around like that, but I get the reasoning.

Well beautiful lady I've NEVER understood this either!! SMH I also can't and never will understand these providers that refuse to give a reference because of the very same topic. Ladies these men are not your Bo's (9 out of 10 he called me or someone else to do what you just did to him (well maybe not what you just did LOL)) and guys these PROVIDERS are not going to be your girlfriend's!! When you left her last she had another lined up to stop by so she can have him lay his money down just like you did!! Guys we are in this business for a reason don't get attached or believe half of what these sweet talking females have to say. I mean yeah Iron Fist and even Luke Cage to some extent dragged on a little bit, but every episode of Daredevil was fucking awesome and fuck the mouse house for doing that. They didn't include any of the Netflix stuff in MCU movies (which should have at least been in Infinity war) and when Netflix bows out and says they'll cancel them all Disney gives the fuck you to the fans. And you know Punisher and Jessica Jones are next too. I'm buying Universal passes from now on. And I'll be damned if I get that streaming services. Also, not sure what brought it up here but I needed to vent this in as many places as possible so thanks.

Bought some Luke Cage merch right after I finished Season 2, and a week later the show got cancelled. Was setting up for really good arc.

I am. What's beyond apoplectic. That Netflix canceled Daredevil. I get that Disney doesn't want one of their new properties on a competing streaming service when they are starting one of their own, but still. Fuck you, Disney. Fuck you very much.
