Very common for verification sites. It's typically stated as only a $2. 99 one time charge. But it's all smoke and mirrors. You end up getting reoccurring 3rd party charges.

You may have to deal with Citi Bank again in 7 days or 30 days. These sites will ask for reauthorization from Citi again when the charge is due, since you "signed up". I've never had the issue with verification sites because I refuse to put my info into one. I did have the issue with Bumble. I paid for one week to see all my matches. Then I thought I cancelled it. Each week for 3 weeks I had to call B of A for a new card since my weekly charge wasn't cancelling. I asked why this keeps happening since I told them it wasn't me that signed up. She said that sites like this have the ability to charge the new card as they get re-authorization because you "signed up".

So after the posts about Jesse I became interested in Massage Republic and liked the fact that you could search by service. So I found "Natalia. Always Hot and Horny". I texted her and she replied immediately although without telling me what I had asked about which was her hours. Not sure that's entirely correct as I have deleted her texts and deleted her as a contact.

In any event that site wanted a credit card number although it said no charge. So like a dope I put in my information and immediately received a call from CitiBank telling me about a possible fraudulent charge and there were two on my account for $39.99. So they removed the charges and have cancelled my card and will send me a new one.

So be warned using this site although my ATF Angel is on there so maybe this was just an isolated incident. If anyone has any luck with the site let me know as I really do like the information that they provide.
