Sending a picture can be too dangerous. There are many instances out there of blackmail threats for one. The other big reason, is that many providers spend time with Uncle on and off. If they were to have their phone checked on one of these encounters, Uncle has your info an pic. It is just too dangerous to do.

That being said, you have the right to ask, and may have no ill intentions at all. We also have the right to refuse. I have never seen a provider that requires a pic, and never will. The biggest reason you haven't had a call from me.

I would do it only if it's a provider I know to be legit (has many reviews or through a recommendation). I wouldn't do it with someone I'm not sure about.
