I don't have a good answer for you but I'll mention something I don't like about the one I tried. TextFree. I hoped it would have its own contacts list, but no. It relies on your regular contact list. Ain't no way I'm mixing personal contacts with hobby contacts. Too much can go wrong. Like fat-fingering a name on a contact list and sending a hobby message to a colleague, relative, or God forbid, my mom. Also, the app would have access to my contacts which means the company probably does too. I don't trust them.

I don't use it much. And I disallowed contacts access.

I am curious if there's one out there that has seperate contacts.

I had a situation recently where a provider was mad at me. Apparently, another monger knew her exact location and other identifying details, and told the provider I was the one who gave him this info. I did not give out this info, and I never have given out a chick's exact location or any details that might identify who she is.

Thankfully, the provider seems to believe me. But some liar out there could have set me up to walk into a really bad situation and I wouldn't have had a clue what I was walking into. So obviously, providers should not take everything a guy says to them at face value and mongers, be aware this type of crap could happen to you.

I do not know who the monger was and I will not say who the provider was, as she did nothing wrong here.
