I've been mongering for a few years now, but only via BP and the internet and strip clubs. Never had I ever picked up a SW. Back where I'm from, it does exist, but based on what I'd read here, the scene is way bigger. I'd avoided it because it was an imaginary line in my mongering that I didn't want to cross (I know it seems ridiculous in this hobby, but I do try to stick to some values), and because it just seemed dangerous. I'm not a particularly intimidating guy. I felt like between the threat of crazy SWs, pimps, and LE, it was too much for me. But now that I live in LA, I decided I wanted to actually take a look.

I took the Fig stroll between Gage and Numero Uno a couple of times earlier this week. I went around 10:30 PM on one night, and then again at about 7 PM tonight. I know these aren't ideal times, but I honestly hadn't even really seen a SW before, and I wanted to see what a popular stroll looked like. Well, as I understand now, it was dead at those times. I decided to try again after midnight tonight. I'd heard after midnight on weekends was good for Fig, so I thought I'd see what after midnight on a Tuesday looked like. Well, I can now say for certain that I know what a SW looks like. I know this is going to sound silly to you veterans, but I couldn't believe how. Out there it all was. Based on the way these girls were dressed and the fact that they were idling about, it was very clear what was going on. There actually wasn't a lot of action in what I understand to be hottie gallery, but it really picked up near the Numero Uno. Late eighties through the nineties, there were maybe a dozen girls out. Mostly BSW, but I saw at least a couple of WSWs and a few LSWs as well. I was mostly just window shopping, but on multiple occasions a LSW tried to get me to "date" her. She actually was pretty decent looking, and she caught my eye from a distance multiple times, but I honestly felt awkward after initially declining, plus I wasn't sure I wanted to do anything. I still don't feel like I know what I'm doing at all.

Case in point. I didn't know if I'd be able to identify a SW (it's easier than I thought, LOL). I didn't know how to wave them down. I was really taken aback by the fact that most of these girls just seem to operate right on the corner, in plain view. When I did end up deciding to pursue a girl (more on that in a moment), I expected her to come meet me down a side street. But most girls seemed reluctant to leave their posts. I was extremely paranoid about being seen. I really don't know what the deal with LE is. Are they driving around in regular cruisers or are there a lot of undercovers on Fig? What sort of vehicles should I be looking for? I know this all sounds so basic but as you can tell, I'm incredibly green. If LE had stopped me at any point, I don't know what I would've said. I was unprepared, but very intrigued by what I was seeing. I probably wasn't very discreet about my driving patterns, as I kept swinging around shortly after I had already been on a street. But I couldn't believe how many obvious mongers there were out there either! It was really something for someone who has never seen this before in their life.

Anyway, I first tried to pick up a BSW on the corner of one of the late 80's. She had a blonde wig and looked thick, and piqued my interest. When I pulled down her street I drove pretty far down, and I just waited for her to follow. Finally she got the message and headed toward me. However, once I got a look at her face, I decided she wasn't for me. So I awkwardly started looking away LOL. After that, I drove around some more, before I noticed a chubby WSW on 91st. She had blonde hair (a wig, as I'd find out), but she actually looked reasonably attractive (not what I was expecting for a SW). I pulled up to her near the corner and she immediately came to my window. She asked if she could ride with me, and then mimicked sucking a dick. I was intrigued, but I wanted to pull around so that I could pick her up farther from Fig itself. When I looped around, she did not want to leave her post. I wasn't budging though, so she finally came over to me. She started talking to me via my window, which I did not want to do. I feel like I've read multiple times that not only is it best to scoop on a side street, but to have the girl get in your car first. She was not interested in getting in the car. I decided she seemed legit, so I reached out through my window and grabbed her boob. We talked prices and she got in the car. Okay, not ideal, but so far so good.

Taylor (her name she gave me) agreed to 50 for a BJ. Started at 60, I countered with 40, settled in the middle. All in all, I actually found it all super interesting. I partially want to recognize that it's dangerous and since my experience really wasn't anything to write home about, I should just call it at that one time. But at the same time, I honestly want to get back out there right now. I look forward to trying it out on the weekend! Please go easy on me, and if anyone has any safety tips or just tips about the route in general, let me know. Particularly this: going forward, should I try to pick up down side streets? Should I insist they get in the car first?

Started in OC's habor track, no LE but no SW's either at 1 am except for 3 hanging out at by the 7-11. WSW, LSW and a ASW.

Left and hit fig by 2:30 there was heavy LE and very little SW action. Started at the 105 and headed north until USC, tried making a second round, but LE was hiding in the dark.

Eventually hit western, by 4 am and found a thick BSW but pretty and curvy in a pink dress. Gave great head and was into the session.

Was shocked to see how hard LE was pressing.

This morning early at the alameda track saw a WSW and BSW on the alameda track.

Seemed odd just to see two. But still engaged the pawg, as it was what I was looking for.

Went to get change. 10 minutes later I come back and decide to check adjacent Streets and I see LEO stopping a guy with possibly a SW inside. 2 blocks away on Newton I spot two out of place SW. I stopped infront of the LSW looks like she hits the gym, she doesn't engage and another BSW was across the st.

Walking back and forth. I chose not to pull up as it seemed very odd. I frequent that area a lot and they seemed out of place.

As I head back to the pawg SW, I see a heavy duty lifted grey f-350 circling back for a 3rd time. As I approach the SW a navy blue or dark Grey undercover explorer parks about 6 cars down. I talk to the SW and mention what's going on around the area. They confirm that the suv is an undercover. SW leave and I bust a you turn to avoid the undercover.

At the stop sign I find one LEO passing by and I see one half a block coming behind me. Got the hell out of there.

Beware of LEO and stings in the alameda track. If ever in doubt simply wait and be alert.

Once, maybe twice a year, I travel to Cali from the Chicago area. The complainers here have no idea how good they have it. First, what is a 3? What is an 8? It's an eternal argument. You ask 100 mongers, you get 100 different answers. I agree you don't find many stunners on tbe street. Why would you? Why would they risk the street life and do it cars for 60 or 80 a pop when they make a lot more in clubs or online? But what I see in Cali is on the whole, much better than what I see in Chicago. Chicago is a desert compared to most areas of the country where I have traveled. Over the past few years, that has included Nashville, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Talahassee, and a few others. But LA, by itself, has Chicago beat to a pulp. That doesn't even include Orange County, Long Beach, and other areas. Both quality and quantity is better. So be thankful for what you have. If you want to be cheap and shop the streets, what do you expect to get? If you want to do movie stars, get out the cash and shop the fancy clubs and escort sites. Like other mongers, I would love to have 38-24-38 just fall in love with my junk on a car or mitel date off the street trade. I accepted a long time ago that it is highly unlucky on the street and I would question the sanity of any high end girl doing it. So be happy for what is out there. You could be my city where 90% or more of the girls on the street look 30 years older than they actually are, have more tracks than veins, and even those are in danger of disappearing because of politics.

We are spoiled, I agree. The thing is we are spoiled with aaaalot of things and it play's into expectations. I have been to Chicago many times and while many great looking women are around it is not like here. Only two cities have I been to that generally bet L. A. For overall women and they are Milan and Barcelona. Milan for a sophisticated model like presence that must come from the fashion industry. Barcelona for attracting the creme de la creme of South America and the generally hedonistic atmosphere that attracts very liberated and good looking women.

Saw two WSW on LBB on the street after the Arco. I think that's still lynwood. Was going to make a you turn but the headlights behind me certainly looked like a crown vic. So I kept going south. Went into the McDonald's, and yeah, that was LEO behind me. Went up and down two more times and saw no more LEO.

One of these girls had a nice caramel complexion and blonde hair with a some nice TnA.

Love the lack of LEO on this street, as well as way less mongers. Feel like the dudes over there burning rubber on fig are what lead to even more LEO there. Sometimes there's that SW, though, that you got to have.

Be careful about the perceived lack of LEO on LBB. While it is true you see fewer Black and White Squad cars, it's LASD territory and they have a very aggressive and sneaky set of undercover LEO in a variety of vehicles. I was once stopped by a uniformed officer that was driving an unmarked Jeep. They like to hide on the side streets as well.
