Tell them you'll take any type of room, and usually they'll find something. Usually works for me. I did have one first time property say they had a hard checkin of 3:00. They wouldn't budge. So I had to walk away and cancel that one.

Best alternative I've found so far. And it usually works for me. I'm sure open to other alternatives. Stay safe!
