The Days Inn at 3300 S Orange Blossom Trail, Orlando, FL 32839 is a good option. I've used it a few times. It's close to the numbered streets area.

Book early before the weekend. Horror Nights started last weekend so rates usually jump on the weekend.

Try the Baymont on OBT and Landstreet (or any motel on OBT). It depends on how far you want to walk. Just stay away from the Royal Inn; that place is a dump.
