Don't know if there are a lot of k-girl fans on this board, but with TER dead, it is hard to get good intel these days. On switter they're called "toots" (rather than tweets), and on a person's profile you can either see "Toots" or "Toots and Replies" to see the whole conversation.

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be much conversation going on, and I fear Switter may be drying up before it ever got going. I am now seeing the same posts from the same providers and it is difficult to piece together who is where and when.

You can access TER using the TOR browser. FYI.

You can access using any VPN that routes through a non-US server, not just TOR. But all the reviews of providers based in the US have been taken down and you can't search for any US location. Some providers contacted the site admin and asked to have their home city moved to Canada or Europe so their reviews can still be viewed. But, in order to find those reviews you have to know the name or profile number of the provider, or the name of the city she's using. And the site is actively looking for and removing reviews for providers who are actually working in the US while saying they're not.

Some of the boards are still active but the level of useful info is pretty low and there's a lot of complaining about the demise of the site. All in all, it's a shadow of its former self and pretty worthless, IMHO.

You can't escape the flake factor, you can only try to minimize its effect

What make me especially mad is seems she is intentionally manipulating you or playing you for her own pleasure. May be she already formed plan the day before. I don't know what ticked her off. I think the way to counter the endemic flakiness in our hobby is review sites. This one isn't bad, but it's not organized like a proper review / ad site. In the Northwest, TNA is really good, and after a few alerts, a flaky provider is well outed and you know what you're getting. TNA has a Washington DC section but it's pretty dead. Check out Portland OR or Seattle to see what I'm talking about.

Anyway, just my opinion. I could be wrong.

So I txted her the day before appointment and she was pretty responsive, the 2nd day morning she txted her extend stay address and confirmed mid-day appointment. 1 hour before hand, she txted me again tell me to txt her when I got to hotel. Yeah, it sucks that a pretty, young, blonde chick acted like pretty, young, blonde chicks often do. But, as you noted, agencies can also be flaky and you'll be sorely disappointed if you look to M. P. s for solace. Flakiness is endemic to the hobby as there are no professional standards other than the ones providers impose on themselves. Some do a better job than others but even the better ones can have their flaky moments. And there's no consequence to flaky behavior other than the loss of business. But, for the pretty young flakes, some fool will be calling them just as soon as you walk away.

Since you can't escape it, the best you can do is minimize it. Posting Intel reports like yours is a good start. It also helps to always have a Plan B (and maybe C or D) in case your primary leaves you hanging. And after a while you'll start to develop a 6th sense that'll help you steer clear of flakes in the first place.

So don't despair, we've all been there. Just chalk it up to experience and move on. And also be thankful that the only thing you lost was some of your time while your hard-earned cash remained in your wallet.
