Yes the carpet is bad. I can't comment on bedbugs. If it was true I would think it would be more of a problem. I have never noticed anything.

I am not sure SR is that much different from most places in terms of cleanliness. Later in the day, especially if a busy day, you should sort of question the cleanliness of any site anyway and be sure to check it. And it is probably best to clean up and shower after anyway as soon as possible.

Been there a couple of times, and in my mind, not worth it. The hot tub is nice, but I always smelled chemicals. Massage was okay, but no hint of extras and never as satisfying as I'd hoped. Good luck!!
