I had plenty of time one night last week to drive around, started down south of the 105 on Fig, drove up not seeing anything at all before the 105 (assume that's pretty normal). Then only black girls on Fig to at least Gage. Light LE presence based on previous comments. Then headed downtown to get something to eat, there's some 24 hour Pho places in Koreatown.
