It's interesting the police are complaining that shutting down the major escort sites actually makes it harder to protect minors. Who could have predicted that removing reviews and boards would endanger sex workers. Oh wait. Everyone.

Don't believe everything you read. They also bust massage parlors because of underage sex trafficking, and I haven't seen a chick under 30 working. The 3 year old was probably taking a nap in the other room, many a monger has done the deed with a kid in the other room.

I previously didn't know he had killed any children. I'm sure he'll get the death penalty unless he can afford someone like Roy Black as his defense attorney.

Penetration is a thing too, especially in winter when you might have leather, a heavy coat, etc. To get through.

My defensive load is the Federal HST 124 gr. Which kind of optimizes expansion against penetration. The 147 gr. Is good too, but has a lower (much lower) muzzle velocity than the 124 (like 900 vs. 1100); it only really matters at longer range (real firefights are usually closer than 10 feet or so), but it's nice to have the edge in accuracy. I used to load Federal hydroshocks, but when ammo got really expensive a few years back, I was too cheap to train with it, so I switched. They're a great round, too, though.

The RIP bullets claim a 1230 muzzle velocity, but what I'm hearing is that it jams automatics a lot (not enough back pressure to reliably clear the slide) and that it has low penetration; I want to drop a mofo, not ruin his motorcycle jacket. My feeling is that the RIP bullets are more known for being "badass" than for being a reliable defensive round. Of course, I'm not back shooting naked women, being as I'm not "gangsta" or anything.

I carry a Glock 21 C. My choice is the Hornady TAP 230 grain +p+. I always train / practice with the same round that I carry. If it's ever needed, I want to know exactly what to expect with regards to recoil and accuracy.
