My guess on why you were pulled over is this:

If you don't come to a complete stop BEHIND the White Line painted on the road at any intersection with a stop sign or traffic signal, they can and will pull you over. It has happened to me a few times over the years. Never was I cited, only harassed. They use it as a way to get even the most careful drivers pulled over. If you will notice, the white lines on many of the intersections on Nashville and the numbered streets are painted quite a distance from the actual intersection. Kalyee and Nashville are the worse, the lines are almost half a cars distance from the stop sign. The old white line near Cleo's Club was a car and a half length from the actual stop sign but they recently moved it more towards OBT making it not as blatantly placed. White line violations are EASY pickin's for LEO.

On many of the numbered streets, the lines are placed so far back that you will have to stop behind the white line THEN move forward towards the stop sign to actually see if it safe to proceed through the intersection. Almost like having to stop twice.

My process when out mongering is to fully STOP behind the white line, count to 2, then move ahead. LEO knows many people won't do this and use it to their advantage. Hopefully this helps newer mongers keep from being pulled over.

Happened to me as well and I was told I'm being pulled over because I rolled that same stop sign on Kaley / Nashville. I drive through that area all the time and not just for hunting either. It's a good escape for when OBT gets too crowded. Never paid any attention to extra white lines but will going forward. Good info.
