Recently I met a nice 20-something from one of the SB sites, and we enjoyed a m&g dinner together. I think that by creating high expectations many girls are setting themselves up for disappointment and of course then go on to blame the men on the site (remember, no matter what it's never the girl's fault) for the pump and dump they get. Yeah, this is a great point. Have you been gifting for these social dates? If so, how much? I'm with JZ here, I never do that, unless they have a drive and then it's only 20 or 30 for gas. If you've been gifting already, then yeah maybe she will have high expectations, but I'd try $$ b / c you've already been paying for nothing.

As an aside, the ones who insist on money for platonic M&G I immediately discard.
