While someone conceivably could snap a picture of your plate from the bedroom or front door window, she would have to go outside to get a good shot of your VIN. Did you hear someone go outside?

Why did you think someone out at the farm house took a picture of your car to get that information? Did you actually see them do it or hear them talk about doing it? That kind of move is very troubling. I just want to find out what makes you think they did that?

This question involves pure speculation, and anyone can chime in: If they did collect personal info about you, (e.g. VIN, license plate, make, model and color of your car, etc.) what good would it do them to have the kind of info? To blackmail you? To assist LE in some way?
