A couple of bowl brothers are having difficulty logging in to SA using the Tor browser. It's the easiest way I know to keep your IP address secret while browsing, from anyone. VPNs are more trouble. I have also heard that regular browsers are working OK. This would not be a good trend for the many of us who are trying to stay under the radar, and it would suggest that the Hong Kong fellow who owns SA isn't our friend. Perhaps it's just a software glitch from a website update, though, so SA should be apprised of the problems they are causing us. I don't have a current membership / profile.

I wish I lived in your city. During my most recent two month stretch of having a paid SA account, I was only able to find about 30 girls I was interested in PM'ing here in Richmond. At least 10 of those haven't signed back into the site since I PM'd them. Of the remaining 20, most replied and I managed to get dinner with five. Two I had no further interest in, and the other three have worked out. Plus one more unmet POT on the back burner.

Not a shortage, but certainly no surplus either. I guess we're too small a town.

I tell them I understand if they are uncomfortable with a per meet allowance, but that it is the best way to start until we have built trust and are confident we both want to continue. A monthly allowance is too easy for someone to be taken advantage of. Either the girl does her part with the promise of the allowance at a later date or the guy provides the allowance up front with the promise the girl will do her part later. It doesn't make sense until there is trust on both sides.

I've found most girls who push for allowances up front to either have gps or be a scammer. I don't want them to be too focussed on getting cash just like they don't want me to be too focussed on getting pu$$y.

To me, that's the point of having a SB instead of seeing a pro-escort. There is a relationship of sorts that develops over time, with some mutual trust. Plenty of women feel that getting the $ right at the FC makes them feel too much like a 'regular' hooker, so they like to have it unconnected, but they're not dumb. They know that 'no play, no pay'. I have negotiated a monthly allowance but also a specific $ for the initial FC. If we both are happy, we continue, if not, not. I also discuss a lot of other stuff up front. Is she on BC, if not what happens if we bust a rubber (I'm paranoid, I admit, I'd never go BB), does she do Plan B, has she had a STD panel, has she had her HPV shot, etc. ?
