I would keep a cover in my pocket if this ever happens again. Take this as a teachable moment. I've had no issues with a BBBJ.

I'm overly cautious about those sorts of things too cause I'm married. Chances of you getting anything is pretty slim but most symptoms show in first two weeks after that you can go get tested. I went to planned parenthood, I used my insurance but you can pay cash if you like (less that $100 I believe).

Posts: 19Thanks. Was the first time this ever happened to me. We all know Googling these kinds of questions is useless. Glad the site's back up too. I just wanted to get a feel for what I'm up against. If anyone has ever actually gotten something from very quick BBBJ, I'd like to know.

Posts: 2243True. IF you get tested by an Antigen test. The "rapid tests" measure antibodies to the HIV virus. It can take as long as 2-3 months for a particular body to produce antibodies to HIV in levels that are detectable.

Posts: 129Yep. Depends on the blood test, but it usually takes 3-4 weeks before HIV becomes detectable.

You said "is that safe", you didn't is that safe because of oral cancer. When people talk about safe practices they include all the STDs / STIs you can get, not just about cancer.

Posts: 100Posts like that are almost always just bullshit posted by a disgruntled former customer. They're so mad that they go overboard with giving reasons you shouldn't see the girl without realizing what they've said doesn't make sense.

Think about it. How did he find out she had HIV and get robbed by her too? While she was robbing him, she said "by the way, I have HIV"? Seems unlikely. If not, then did he meet her successfully once, she told him she had HIV, and then he came back a second time to see her and that time she robbed him? Why would he have come back the second time? Makes no sense.
I've never met her, but that fake warning wouldn't dissuade me at all if I was planning to.
To the OP, though: my guess would be the girl in your town who has a different number has just stolen this girl's pics, though. This girl posts in Richmond every day lately.

So you don't like BJs either? LOL Someone could easily say "How do you let these girls blow you, is that safe? All the guys on here have been in that mouth dude". Wouldn't that be the same as what you imply?

Not a doctor but I think it takes a bit longer than 1 week for hiv to show up in your blood.

Huh? This entire thread is about STDs and the risks associated with such. Just on this page are a number of links to CDC risk tool as well as info on transmission risks, etc.

What is "risk" is actually how one perceives risk and that is highly individual and often emotional rather than rational. Many "beliefs" that most latch on to. Some things to consider are in post # 811.

Why do you think that is?

Now do not fall into the assumption that needles equals transmission or risk. It can, but needle exchange programs in many areas have reduced that form of risk. It appears as though the concern with addicts is that, when they are drug sick or Jonesing, they will do anything to get their meds and that means BBFS with anyone with cash or drugs. Also, what do the statistics in your area (State's Annual HIV Surveillance Report) say about who is infected? AA women? White Women? Asian Women? Men? In general, the rate of white women living with HIV is less than 2-tenths of a percent, <0. 2%. The rate for Asian women is even less. But you should confirm such with your location's information.
I think it is an assumption to say that AMP customers are upper class and do not have STDs. Last time I visited an AMP they did not ask for my social economic background, nor STD status before admitting me. Me thinks they were more interested in who I was (who I wasn't) and if I had the ability to pay. There ARE AMPs where BBFS is an option and those are usually famously reviewed on these threads. Also it may be a matter that is between the girl and her client. IF she likes him and he is nice & a regular she may allow BBFS. That usually takes time, effort and extra tip. But to assume AMP girls do not do BBFS.
Not sure how that table explains why SWers are more risky than AMP girls?
