I'm overly cautious about those sorts of things too cause I'm married. Chances of you getting anything is pretty slim but most symptoms show in first two weeks after that you can go get tested. I went to planned parenthood, I used my insurance but you can pay cash if you like (less that $100 I believe).

True. IF you get tested by an Antigen test. The "rapid tests" measure antibodies to the HIV virus. It can take as long as 2-3 months for a particular body to produce antibodies to HIV in levels that are detectable.

I have been doing this for years and learned that for SW it is best to stick with BJ's. Now AMP's are a much cleaner place, the women are cleaner and the clientele are upper class. Meaning the people who visit usually do not have an STD. I would do BBFS there, if they offer it.

In my view, the issue with Street Walkers (SW) is that most, if not all, have some form of addiction and thus why they are on the streets. Now do not fall into the assumption that needles equals transmission or risk. It can, but needle exchange programs in many areas have reduced that form of risk. It appears as though the concern with addicts is that, when they are drug sick or Jonesing, they will do anything to get their meds and that means BBFS with anyone with cash or drugs. Also, what do the statistics in your area (State's Annual HIV Surveillance Report) say about who is infected? AA women? White Women? Asian Women? Men? In general, the rate of white women living with HIV is less than 2-tenths of a percent, <0. 2%. The rate for Asian women is even less. But you should confirm such with your location's information.

I think it is an assumption to say that AMP customers are upper class and do not have STDs. Last time I visited an AMP they did not ask for my social economic background, nor STD status before admitting me. Me thinks they were more interested in who I was (who I wasn't) and if I had the ability to pay. There ARE AMPs where BBFS is an option and those are usually famously reviewed on these threads. Also it may be a matter that is between the girl and her client. IF she likes him and he is nice & a regular she may allow BBFS. That usually takes time, effort and extra tip. But to assume AMP girls do not do BBFS.

I know for me that fear comes from a lack of knowledge. Once I understood the facts of risk, transmission and prevalence of STDs, I was better able to manage my risk on a rational rather than emotional basis. While fear is a good thing and a way to avoid stepping into the lion cage, it didn't need to cloud my judgement.
