Went to Lansing Accupressure last wee to see if things had improved. Better than my last visit (which hadn't been for a few months). Met with Jenny, who I'd guess is late 40's Korean. A little on the thicker side and face was only average, but service was ok. Everything covered, 180 total. With that place though who knows if that's what things will be like next time.

Have not been there in a year, but Jenny was my go to there in 2015/2016. Not sure if she is still there. A call ahead my be wise.

I'd say avoid this place unless you are really desperate.

First thing first half hour doesn't usually get you a shower (or so I was told and I just got lucky). Which I do enjoy on occasion. Now for everything else.

Stopped by on a whim. It's close to me and out of the way enough it's safe.

The good? It's close.

The neutral. Woman was decently attractive but negotiating didn't go well. Did the pretend to not understand thing a lot.

The bad. Doesn't take no for an answer on anything and is insistent on there being a mandatory. 60 tip no matter what. Massage was terrible and table shower was meh. Somewhat open menu but super pushy.

Won't be going back.

I'm going to try acu again and hopefully don't get karate chopped this time.

I wouldn't go so far as say it is a joke. Have been to this place quite a few times over the years and it could be the poster child for YMMV. More so than your typical AMP. Have had some unbelievable times and others (unfortunately more often the case) which were far worse than you describe.

Went to the Islands 1st thing, no Mikki, off today. The other providers are sub-par. Very disappointing trip.

I agree I am not willing to pay for 50+ either there is no imagining them younger. Sad we have to travel so far to find what we are looking for.

I feel the same way about Mija down in B. C. Not my type, too old, and I hope I never get her when I go down. She's too old for me. While she may be fun like Mikki they're just too old for me. Even with my imagination.

So I guess I'm giving Lansing Accu a shot or LA spa.

First, I wouldn't be too quick to pass on Mikki because of her age. It's very easy to imagine she's much younger. As far as the other places, when it comes down to it, there's such frequent changes with the other Hawaii girls, Lansing Acu and LA Spa that it's been at least a few years since there's even been ANY name recognition at all for a provider. I mean, who can any of us name from those places besides Mikki? I guess that's both good and bad. There's probably some talent at one or more of those places that few or none of us have recognized and feted. So TOFTT could be rewarding (or not). Worth the risk? Yes, IMO.

Have gone once before and had a terrible time. Been thinking of giving it a shot again. Last time had this short Filipino in her 50's karate chop me as a massage and was really rude.

Has anyone gone recently? Any tips on who to ask for? I'd prefer 40's and under.

I've been happy with Lansing Wellness for non-FS and highly recommend melody. Making a trip down to B. C isn't bad. But I'd like something local for F. S. Mikki sounds amazing but sadly also a bit too old for me (I'm in my early 30's) and she's in her 50's. LA spa sounds like a terrible time based on reviews.

Would appreciate some assistance.

Dam. That's another 30 miles further than Hawaii. I might have to give it a try though.
