I've been active / not active for many years in this hobby. Lately, I've played around with Craigslist. That's a little crazy. Anyone see this gal? I know her from a club she use to work at. Twice tried to setup an appt. Both times got to the said (dump) motel. The first time she seemed to be busy (high volume). Someone got there and she took them first, ignored me for 30 minutes and finally responded that someone was just leaving. I already left the area.

+1. I can attest to that. Proceeding with a date that I felt I shouldn't, and I was indeed burned. Once was enough for that lesson.

I've been guilty of this myself. Someone made an anology of batting 250/1000 recently. Sometimes, the hoops we jump through to see one of these bitches makes one feel like "at least I get a chance at bat". AKA thinking with the wrong head. You are right, it usually ends with regrets.
