I understand. I've come to the conclusion that despite the difficulty of connecting on CL through all of the murk and crap, the women you do connect with are so much better than backpage girls that I've largely cut myself off of BP and pretty much only use CL these days.

Same here, although I haven't been playing the CL game in about a year. Tried to make my own post on m4 w and got non stop nonsense spam for most of the day. No hits. Doesn't seem to work as well as it used to. Guess I might have to lurk around the w4 m side a bit more.

My experiences on CL are similar though. People from all walks of life. I've had mature women who arent very attractive offer free services if I DATY. I've had a few college girls around the OU area, I've had a few escorts that also post on BP. Its harder to find something decent, but all of my good hits turned into regulars at one point or another. I'm a little more paranoid now though, no real reason why.

I find myself rushing my validating process on a fresh ad so I can reply before the ad is flagged. Tonight I was responding to an 18 yo in Dearborn. Before I got the CL link the ad was flagged. Luckily I managed to get a copy of the ad.

I fail to recognize the rationale for some flagging of ads. It's like ads might be flagged to eliminate competition. I have an example in mind where an ad remains unflagged while other competitor ads are flagged.

I flag. I have a scheme for parcing ads like those described in earlier posts in this thread. One thing I do is google quips from ads to see if they are posted elsewhere.

I think some people are flagging ads looking for "flowers". I don't flag those ads.

I've seen her walking back & forth on Joslyn at the mouth of her street with some sleeved up cat. I have investigated her locale myself (drive by). There is always a cracked out looking dude hanging out front. I corresponded with her as well. She stated she lives alone with 45 year old female roomate who lives in the basement. Also a SP.

She told me herself when I inquired about a month ago when she first started posting and she got into trouble for it. She seems really sweet but because of the fact that BB is offered so easily, I stayed away. I don't like the idea of sleeping with someone who's so quick to give BB away.

With this info I've been able to narrow down her house to two on google earth. Her giving her location info is strange. I wrote her pointing out the street number in the photo. I got no response and noticed she ran the same picture later.

Her pictures are all clothed. She is attractive.

Her quotes are high with a bareback option.

I troll the w4 m ads building a phone bank for when I visit for a month this fall.

You guys are awesome! I'm going to have to try this. I'll admit that my first couple of attempts at answering CL ads resulted only in spam from people who wanted me to sign up for a website membership.

Paco you might want to take extra special care and maybe stay out of the Pontiac area. Pontiac is a bad area far worse than Detroit.

I responded to 3 different ads on craigslist. All mature ladies, interesting thing, all the returns had the same email? I'm sure I'm not doing a good enough job weeding out the fakes but, that was 3 strikes for me.

To weed out the spam, I search "ages 18-99" in the ages section. It takes out almost all spam.

What's your personal take on the ads asking for phone numbers for a reply.
