All I have to say is you were probably lucky. I've been to Criket may be 3-4 times now, all probably at the end of day shifts but have not been very successful in finding the right one. At times, I even tip the girl that's on stage and after the dance, she goes straight to her regulars and hangs out with them!

Last time I was in Criket, several months ago, I did well enough. Day shift, after office hours, but before dinner. Sorry, I do not remember the young woman's name. I do not recall tipping at the stage, but perhaps caught her eye. She was maybe in her 30's, above average in height, had long, medium brown hair and a nice but unspectacular body. Her key attribute was that she was willing to listen to my long drawn-out tale of woe from work.

The conversation started with my joking that there were no customers in there under age 40, which was an exaggerationn -- none were under 50. Or maybe 55. All had either gray hair, white hair, or no hair. This nice woman told me that was why she worked day shift. Older men were more respectful. And have disposable income, and were willing to spend it.

I could tell that I was trying her patience when she asked if I was ready to go in the back, so I shut up and followed her. I forget whether negotiations took place before or after leaving the table, but I told her I wanted BBFS and K9, and that I had $ . 40 on me. I was there at about 5. The mix was more to my liking with about 10 customers and 4 girls. I went back with a busty blonde for a dance. I didn't catch her name. In town for some business and always looking to mix business with pleasure. Not had a SC experience for awhile so it took ajust to the lights and sound. Lots of pretty girls to look at. Typical bump and grind. Many made their way past my spot at the bar to introduce themselves. All sweet and prolly talented. One gal who looked like maya rudolph with. Lot ons was particularly aggressive, and while not necessarily my type, her attitude was tempting. Personal favorite was Bambi. Give more time I would have liked to cultivate that relationship. That is absolutely crazy logic. If she doesn't agree while out on the floor, she can get lost. There are always hungry dancers. You will go broke or frustrtaed trying to work a deal just in back.

The way you suggest is one way to do it, but not the only way. Whatever works for you, go with it. Have fun.

I agree with you as well, Mr. Bratley. I'm just saying, whatever works for you all. Me, I've done both -- negotiated at my seat at the table, and also negotiated in the VIP if the dancer didn't offer the chance to talk numbers before heading there. But in either case, what has worked for me is "This is what I plan to spend for these named activities", and that usually works. I'm usually offering $ . 2 to $ . 4, and most were happy to accept that. Some have told me, once in the back, that they get $$ or $$ I say sorry, for that much, I expect an hour in a hotel room on a king-sized bed. And that usually ends the negotiation in the VIP, with the only the price of one song due.

Full disclosure, I haven't been to an SC in months since I found a provider just as good or better than what I usually get in a SC; plus in her room, unrushed, and no drinks or parking fees or cover charges or loud racket. So I will admit that maybe my negotiating skills are now wishful and imaginary from disuse.
