Good location BUT chubby girl. Shocked me so I asked if KK? Yes. Very friendly, pretty face and nice lady but not the type that turns me on. Made the best out of it but if rolley polley is not your type, look elsewhere.

I dropped by Eden Spa on Beauregard St. Near the intersection with Little River Turnpike just off 395 in Alexandria. The location is a little difficult to access due to the traffic pattern to get there and heavy traffic in front of the joint.

You're right. That intersection sucks. You can enjoy some pizza across the street at Valentino's.

Just woke from a daydream about FW. I've had a few dreams there over the past couple of months, some near misses, some near hits. No direct experience but always skeptical when I see ads featuring Japanese massage or masseuses. I've only found one semi-Japanese (Hawaiian Japanese, she claimed) and she was older, Americanized and nothing like what most clients think a Japanese masseuse would be.

$80 suggests FBSM but no guarantee since Arlington prices tend to be a bit higher even for legit places. If you don't get good intel and decide to try anyway, my suggestion is to look for the usual signs of a legit vs HE place such as the type of entryway and front desk area, whether you pay first or after, whether the rooms are private with doors instead of curtains, etc.

If it looks legit and you decide to stay you can at least hope for a good massage. If anything more happens then that'll be a nice surprise. However the session goes, you'll have valuable intel for the future.

I found myself off work early yesterday and decided to take some time to relax. My first stop was at Angel's, but my problem was that I hadn't read up on the past several days posts so I was quite surprised to find it closed with the door locked. Being unprepared, it did kind of spook me initially, so I returned to my car to see what was up. As usual, several others had already detailed what happened and I realized I could've saved myself some time. Lesson learned. I didn't read about anything going down at Garden or Pine, but I didn't really want to try my luck. I much prefer Angel over the other two anyway.

So, I decided to relocate and traveled further west. I went to Cosmos, which I think I might've gone to several years back but couldn't quite remember. I saw June, and she was very pleasant. She asked if I had an appointment, which I did not, and she told me someone had called to make an appointment but hadn't shown up yet. Started with a table shower, which took her a minute to get going but was handled as expected. There was a little bit of testing the waters, making sure we were both on the same page, but after that the shower and massage were first rate. She had good technique and took her time, used some lotion but not too much and it wasn't scented. Hot towels and some back walking and I was ready to take a nap. With about 10 minutes left she asked if I wanted to turn over (of course) and NoVa standard with some UTC roaming was allowed. All in all a pleasant experience and a very discreet location.

Some stray thoughts on past visits:

- I'm fond of Miko's for both the location and the great service, but it's frustrating that they don't have a TS available (This is why I decided to give Cosmos a try). They (Miko's) do have a shower, but the one time I asked for that I was on my own and it felt kind of pointless. Other than that, I've always gotten good massages there.

- I saw some interest a few weeks back about Best, and that some people were trying to visit but they were always busy. I remember going here quite a bit a few years ago before I decided to broaden my horizon, so I thought this was a good chance to see what might've changed. The answer is, not much, but it did feel a little dated and not as clean / well kept as many of the other locations detailed here on the board. I was able to walk in without an appointment, it was around 2:00-2:30 on a weekday, so maybe folks have been going too late during the afternoon "rush hour"? It was a mixed experience, but may be worth the wait for some. Walking in, the entrance area had a funky smell, like damp floors with stinky food / trash but I only noticed it while walking in. I stayed true and remained on course for research. I don't recall my providers name, but she was the standard late 30's / early 40's with some upper enhancements. TS was good and very thorough, and the massage was very good as well. When it came time for the flip, I'd describe it as a NoVa + finish. Disrobed, free roaming, some nursing, and a very enthusiastic finish. Standard $.20 total fee / tip. I may repeat, but there are so many other options that I think are a little cleaner that it probably won't be for a while.

Front parking lot is only 20 minutes and she explained I would get towed if I parked there. So be advised. The spa is secluded in the basement of a non-descript office building. Nice because it's not obvious where you are going when you enter the lobby of the building. Once inside, just look for the stairwell.

After ringing the doorbell, I was met at the door by "Connie", a very nice Korean lady who is probably pushing 50. She said I spoke to her on the phone, so she was expecting me. After getting comfortable, I took her up on the offer for a table shower. Connie was not at all shy about cleaning me all up, so that was an excellent experience. Then she led me back to the room for the massage. One hour is. 8 / half is. 6.

Connie said she is new to working there. She is a pretty lady with nice hands, and she gives an above average rub. Options were somewhat limited for this 1st timer, but the girls came out to play and the finish was standard. She earned. 6 for her efforts. The only thing that bothered me was she would not completely close the door. I heard people coming and going in the hallway outside the room, but she kept assuring me that no one would come in. So it took a few minutes for me to get relaxed because it did not feel comfortable. Maybe leaving the door pulled to but not completely closed is their standard policy?

I saw another gal in the hall on my way out. Looks-wise, she was comparable to Connie. So the ladies appear to be mature at this place. That may become the new connotation for a "standard nova". However, I am fine with that because I happen to enjoy the company of middle aged women.

Overall, the place has a nice shower area, a comfortable table, and clean linens. Connie's massage was pretty close to LMT quality. So it was not a bad way to spend an hour. I am not saying you need to race over there, but it is a nice change of pace if you need to add some variety to your life. I would certainly repeat and I recommend only if you are okay with what I have described.

You can park on the side of the building to be discreet. Enter through the front of the building on the first floor as soon as you enter. No waiting outside to ring a bell, just open the door and go in. I was the only monger there after work so I don't think this place gets much foot traffic.

My provider was Lily. She is ok looking, a little frumpy, but I needed a good massage for my sore muscles and she delivered. She was cautious at first but towards the end I was able to persuade her to do noVA stf. I think because she was cautious, the noVA std was not as thorough as it could be. Now that she knows me, future visits should be more amicable. I would repeat if I need a good solid massage to work out my sore muscles. 60 for the hr, no TS. 50 tip as she went above and beyond with an excellent massage.

When I came back a week later to get my massage, the girl was so happy that I didn't narc on her, my mileage increased on that visit.

If you play long enough it will happen. Just stay calm and admit nothing. This is also why you don't want to have anything on you that could get you in trouble.

Fairfax County must do things differently. I recall about 7 or 8 years ago or so, a place in Sterling, near the home depot, that was busted and the mongers that happened to be patronizing the spa had their names printed in the paper, charged with patronizing a "bawdy place".

First, let me say that I no longer seek HE or anything else, that was 15 years ago. These places do give the best massages. To me, there is nothing like a beautiful flirtatious giving me a massage which I need. And it's cheap, you can beat the price.
