Maybe not the best place to post this but putting it out there to maybe help others.
I don't know if others have this issue but I often couldn't log in to this site because I'd get a "wrong username or password" message. And damnit I know I entered it right. I tried most of the help solutions suggested but they didn't work. I'm in a rural area with painfully slow internet (0. 3 - 0. 7 Mbps on a good day). I finally realized that after entering my password, if I waited a few seconds before hitting the Login button I no longer had problems. It seems like the last letter of my password is slower to make the journey to the servers than the Login button. Maybe it's my Kindle browser but it's easy to blame my POS slow internet for everything. "Fiber is coming" they keep telling me, for TWO years now. They say it's part of Obama's "No Hillbilly Left Behind" program. I'll believe it when I'm streaming HD porn LOL. Rant over.
I'm LovnLivn.

I use TextNow. I delete when I don't need it, and I have multiple accounts, so if I cross a line in questioning the girl, I can hit her up from a different number and start over. You can change your number every 15 days, so that prevents unwanted texts down the road.

Not to beat a dead horse but you are correct. I just got mine last month. Registered on the phone itself using the minutes card and no name needed. Just follow the directions in the phone package.

1st pay phone that I saw in the last 5 years was this weekend at a campground in the hills. But if that is an option and you know where a pay phone is. Go for it!

When I got mine I did not register it, it gave me an option to do it later, that was a couple years ago and never ask again, so there is no info on me. Except a fake name. I have the type you buy the mins card to add mins. No plan.

It's been a few years since I did it, but as I recall, Tracfone gives you a way to register the phone using the phone itself.

Posts: 478LOL, he's suggesting you use a pay phone to register your burner phone instead of using a computer, not to use a payphone for mongering.

Reading comprehension, has long been an issue with some folks here.

How many pay phones do you see these days? How is someone going to call you back on a pay phone? (I often have the experience that the provider doesn't answer the phone, but, in a good case, she calls back in a few minutes.).

It easier and less hassle just to use a pay phone to register the burner phone.

Get the 99 dollar plan, it's good for a year and you can add 1000 texts for 5 bucks.

Use a computer that can't be traced back to you to register and activate the burner. Choose an area code that is not close to you.
