I can offer a theory based on our credit card system.

Its relatively straightforward, but a variety of things can stop a charge from going through. We've had workers run the card incorrectly, for example. Each night at 11 PM we get an automated settlement when the day's charges are downloaded to the credit card processor. In the morning we read the settlement report to compare it to the day's receipts. So, if the worker messed up the charge, the settlement will omit that particular charge. If that happened (and we spot it) we call the processor, and they re-run the transaction. We reconcile every day. Also we check the bank deposits vs the credit card processor report and the settlement report.

The software is designed to catch typical "errors". For example, a tip adjust that is bigger than some target amount (like 100% Also, I would guess, duplicate charges. So your first $60 was the "door" and the second $60 was the tip. That might easily get flagged as a duplicate. So the credit card company might call the owner and ask if it was a duplicate. Owner asks the girl, and she either forgot, or more likely decided (see no evil / speak no evil) and she denied knowing anything about the extra $60 or the BJ. That would be my theory.

So you got a bargain. Alternatively, you could return and talk to the girl. She might reward you for your honesty. I would not discuss it with the owner.

I agree with Datsurman. I'm too old to play the towel game at nondescript offices. If they leave a towel on the table, I'll be certain to lay on top of it instead. I had a MT walk out on me only once. I responded to an ad on MassageAnywhere, which is hardly a bastion of legitimacy. It was at a salon, but I wanted to test the waters. I kept nudging the towel before she stormed away, declaring the session over with. Of course, she made me do the walk of shame to the front desk. I quietly paid full for my partial session, in order to avoid a scene. I've stuck to small Euro offices and private residences ever since.

I dealt with these "pretenses" when I was a newbie. Now I don't waste my time. I don't make any attempt to cover myself during a massage. If they say something I pretend like I don't know what the hell they are talking about. Its my money. I enjoy a nude massage. If that makes you uncomfortable, tough shit. Find a different profession. If you are paying, I will put a towel on. If I am paying, the towel stays off.

I went to l_ spa on Clark just north of Bryn Mawr. Drew a 40 something slim girl. Walked past a younger girl, thought about asking about her but never feel comfortable asking for the more attractive girl. Room has the bars for back walking but there would be none of that as well as the printed no sex sign. Naked when the girl walked in, asked if my first time, I said no. Kind of sub par massage but ok and unrushed. On the flip, didn't have to ask. Standard finish, decent. 45 at door plus 40 tip. Was not attracted to the girl and below average massage probably will keep me from going back.

I'd surmise that was the deal breaker. I don't go undraped at a chain spa like Massage Envy, but in a private unmarked office or residence, it's not outrageous to try and do away with pretenses. It's you and her with conventional formalities on the other side of a locked door. If she balks at wanting to do away with the towel, (Euros like to keep up appearances) try to help her "adjust" the draping if she needs to get into hard to reach places.

Keep in mind, that Euros are smart enough to know not to discuss money. I'll leave what I'm willing to tip under my loud jumble of keys. Both for safe keeping while my eyes are closed, as well as to telegraph what I'd consider negotiating, now or in the future.

Hell, make them tingle for it. Fan your 20's out nicely, with a few singles only showing their green edges underneath. Create the illusion of wealth if you are new to the scene.

I am new to this so I tried 1 CBJ and it was effective but I wouldn't do again, fortunately I got a 2nd pop to justify cost.

I am at the point where if I get a massage I want extra and can't see myself spending $70-100 for legit massage and tip unless I really need it. So I will just go less times to spend more If I want extras at a place. Might try some new spots.

Was in the area today and stopped by a relatively new place near Elston and Irving Park called Dragon Healthy. Greeted by a lovely woman by the name of Emily. Decent-looking (I'm guessing she's in her mid to late 30's) with a great, friendly personality. Facilities are nice and clean; place has a legit feel to it.
