Essentually being in a known drug area is enough to be doing something wrong. Kim worthy got law passed in 08 or 09 that states just veing in a know drug area is enough to impound your vehicle. You won't get arrested but you will be impounded. It happened to me once, and it cost 900+ to get my car back. That's just the tip of the ice burg. Where there is drugs, there is prostitution, where there are prostitute there are Johns, this will increase there revenue generating and leave you hurt. Don't just stop and park your car, you stick right out to them. Best they see you circle around than stop in a known drug and prostitution area.

I got hit with the LIPIO ticket back in 2011. Funny enough, I was not mongering, but driving home from work. They didn't take my car, but I had to go to court several times to fight it (I used the public defender and the prosecuting attorney was more on my side than he was).

My case was dismissed right about the time that channel 7 was doing reports about how the cops were abusing the loitering law (like ticketing a guy on his own porch), and the police had to issue a statement saying that they were going to stop issuing the bogus tickets.

That helped me because I sued the city, they just settled last year for a couple grand. But it wouldn't surprise me if they started abusing loitering tickets because it's easy cash for the city.

Shot The Are early Friday morning and it was dead. Several days earlier Gee Gee the black he / she was stationed at Lantz and The Are looking good. No one has seen Tammy for at least 6-9 months. Finally Brandy the Bad Provider is out of jail and back to ripping people off. Judging by her lack of teeth I am hoping one of her victims gave the formerly attractive Ms B a little payback.

Be careful out there. Very careful.

If you talking about Tammy with the blonde hair I saw her on the street a couple of weeks ago. She looked about 6 months pregnant.

Assume many of you have heard about the fatal traffic accident on Woodward the other day when a man in a truck was turning right onto Woodward from State Fair when a speeding car being pursued by the police struck and killed him. Wreckage was strewn across all 8 lanes in that section due to the impact.

Well according to my ATF, the speeding car contained two blond SWers operating out of a dope house in the first block of Hollywood off Woodward. The driver is in jail on charges of vehicle manslaughter, drug possession, fleeing police, driving a stolen car and not having a driver's license. The passenger is also facing some of the same charges and is currently in fair condition at Henry Ford.

Street gossip also says both may be charged with operating a prostitution ring as each reportedly runs several girls out of the Hollywood house. This might have led to the initial chase but driving a stolen car will also draw attention. Nervous locals expect both SWer to rat each other out and anybody else in the neighborhood in hopes of reducing some of the heavy time they are facing although the driver is probably looking at life due to her past criminal history.

The real pity of this is that the victims' family won't get a dime from suing these girls as they have nothing. They might go after the cops for negligence, but that's a long shot.

One of my main worries as a long time monger is a situation happening just like this one.

So even while closely looking for talent on certain Detroit streets, my eyes are still constantly checking my mirrors and surroundings. I take my time easing into busy intersections after the light turns green and fully stop at stop signs because many Detroit drivers don't.

I was in the 6 mile and Woodward area when this happened. I kept hearing more sirens than usual. This is why when I watched the news when I got home. Here is a link I just found.

This is always my biggest worry too. And I've seen cases similar to this happen more than once right in front of me (although no one killed, I've seen my share of bad accidents in the hood).

Thanks much for your time and for the feedback, but being only your second post, I would like to hear from anyone else that may know her. I just know she runs with a guy and you could be that guy posting about her. As a senior member, I recommend you post more about your experiences when you can to build your credibility. That will get you more digits and senior status. Thanks.

That's what I thought I would hear and knew all ready. . LEO had nothing on me, vehicle is all good and myself, but impounding your vehicle is a no win, your paying. I was was being cocky because of his attitude. I have been stopped and question before, even sitting right in front of a house of regular girl I was dating in SW, but LEO was always respectful and so was I. Thanks all for the feedback.

They can hit you with Loitering in a place of illegal occupation If your in sitting in any known drug or prostitution.

I got a ticket and had my car towed because I was in an area of known drug and prostitute activity. Our uncle from Wayne county followed my white ass from the G to chalmers and pulled me over and took my car. This was just a "recon" trip since I was on my way to work.

Basically a grand to get my car back and another 2 grand to hire a lawyer to clear me.

Just be smart and safe guys.

Possible increase LEO crackdown on fort. Was driving down fort street tonight and there was a unmarked LEO lit up in the gas station at fort and springwells with a flat bed loading a vehicle. I drove down by the Apts we all know about and parked across the street, far back but still able to see the front entry to check things out. Had a marked LEO pass by, no concern as they cruised by in the past with me parked in the same spot with no issues. But this time, he pulls a you turn and pulls up to my side and ask what am I doing, I said my engine was overheating (which it was running hot, from sitting there, LOL) and I stopped for a minute. His cocky attitude reply was "your waiting on a girl aren't you" Then were do you live, told him with a cocky attitude also, then were are you coming from, again I answered with a cocky attitude-I was not doing anything wrong-I said the casino, he then said cocky again two more times, "your waiting a a girl aren't you". Then said "leave and get out of here", he circled the block and follow right behind me on fort a least a mile till he responded to the gas station that I stated above to assist. Don't know if that was some poor monger getting impounded.

Someone on here that know what they are talking about, please chime in. Sitting in a car far across fort st from a known place of drug activities, and where the SWs live, am I doing anything illegal? My opinion, I don't feel so. This still is the US right! I think LEO followed me just waiting for me to fail to use a turn signal, speed or do something that he could legally stop me for.

Years back I was circling on the triangle in my bimmer and I was pulled over for nothing. I think LE saw me circling around few times and spotted me. After pulling me over, he starts asking me where I am going and what I am doing in Detroit. For which I asked him is it illegal to drive in Detroit? He points at my ear piece that was hanging from my rear view mirror and says this is "obstruction of vision" and wrote me up for that. I fought the ticket which he did not show up to the court and got away. The moral of the story. Even if you're circling around is not safe, once they see you driving by multiple times they will stop you. I suggest you just move on to another area instead its way too risky if LE is hanging around - they want to generate revenue. Be Safe Guys.

It was simple intimidation. If you are sitting still in an area of drugs and or prostitution, LE will jump to the conclusion that it is not a coincidence. They will hassle you because they can. Getting cocky won't help your situation, and it's probably part of the reason he followed you, hoping you would screw up somehow. The other part of the reason was simple intimidation. They want to make it uncomfortable for you. Just be polite, especially when they have nothing on you. And always make sure you have everything in order when you are cruising. Headlights, taillights, turn signals working, plate tabs and paperwork up to date. Don't give them any reason to look at you more than they already are.
