Both Jeju and Gangnam are totally legit (as far as the sauna goes).

It's not uncommon to go to Jeju and find the parking lot full but the sauna fairly empty. Since I'm not Korean, I am not privileged to know what else is going on behind those unmarked doors on the second floor.

I went to Jeju a couple of times, the first time was OK their sauna is super hot and I love that. The second time, there were a couple of guys in there jerking off. I left, I don't know how often that happens, but I certainly don't want to sit on some guy's overheated dried up jizz. Disgusting.

Both Jeju and Gangnam are totally legit (as far as the sauna goes).

Gangnam is more traditional where the men and women go into their own locker rooms and have their own separate saunas. There is a small common area but mostly you'll find people sleeping or watching videos. On either side of the common area are warm sleeping rooms that have rectangle areas filled with small round wooden balls that you sink into but really support you too. It's very comfortable. At night, one side is for men and one side is for women.

Jeju is more upscale. Everything is beautiful and they have very large community dry saunas where men and women can mix (but fully clothed). The floors are heated and they have a decent restaurant in the common area. There is a very large locker / sleeping / bathing / wet saunas area in the men's locker rooms and I assume the same is in the women's locker room. At night, they bring out the sleeping mats and people sleep on the floor of the common room. I used to go there a lot but I haven't had time lately. If you go late on Saturday night there is good chance to run into some of the girls from the massage stores. Saturday night tends to be the popular night to go since most stores open late on Sunday.

Jeju did get into trouble a year or so ago because they were caught with quite a few workers without massage licenses and ignored the warning. They even arrested the manager when they came back and found most of the workers still there.

Speaking of saunas. Anyone ever tried Jeju or Gangnam Sauna? I'm not exactly sure how these places work. Normally, I might spend 20-30 minutes in a sauna and that's it. Gangnam seems like a multi-hour affair. I suspect happy endings are frowned upon.

On the weekend the bar on the first floor can get busy and take up most of the parking spots. You can always park next door in the Burger King parking lot. I always like to drive up the side entrance and drive up to the parking lot on the second floor. That is a nice private parking lot, but it can get full too if the bar is having a special event.

I work in that part of town so this location is very convenient to me.
