There is some truth to this, and some of the prominent SDs on these boards (JZLizard, CephalopodLove, F Scott) admittedly spend a good deal of bandwidth exchanging approaches. I'd like to consider myself in their league, and of course I have some of my own techniques that seem crafty, and I've taken it as a compliment when I've gotten a 'James Bond' bon mot. Indeed, there is a bit of an extra rush to have figured out a good way to stay under the radar regarding the SO, adding to the usual rush of sugaring. While essential, I try to keep the untruths to the SO at a minimum, as I don't think they're particularly good for the soul. On the other hand, a few SDs on here have expressed some variance of "I'm going straight to hell" when reporting some particularly depraved move (hitting both mother and daughter off SA in the same week, for example), and others respond 'the devil will be giving you a high-five on the way in'.
