I have yet to read on this forum (or the newspaper) of a john being arrested in a raid.

You can't be arrested in a raid unless they can prove they caught you in the act. When a police raid happens, HPD already knows whp they are going after. They have information on them, evidence on them, charges already pending most of the time. You as a monger would be a new variable in the equation of this raid so unless they caught you in the act (and the girl is willing to testify) you can't be arrested during the raid. Though they never came there to arrest you in the first place.

You can look at all the statements by the Prosecuting Attorney for C&C as to guidance regarding what the priority is in pursuing prostitution rackets. It has never centered on getting Johns and it never will. The focus has been on the establishments and to a lesser extent stopping human trafficking that sometimes goes along with it. VICE is not going to get active collaboration from working girls in the busting of Johns. VICE isn't going to try and the girls aren't going to play ball. Its also illegal. LE cannot use civilians to commit crimes to catch other criminals. I have said it before and I will say it again VICE and its UCs have their hands full with much more important cases, cases which are infinitely easier to bust and just as easy to prosecute. Everyone should already be aware that HPD is under Federal Investigation and even though there is a specific scope to that investigation, that doesn't mean the blinders will be on. Right now HPD is going to be careful, its not going to be doing anything stupid. The current crop of CIU guys are mostly good to go (if you're a monger). Meth is what they are looking for. If AMPs have anything to worry about, its ICE and not the Meth kind.

So let me clarify for you, I was leaving dream and as I walked down fort street 2 undercover police followed me and stoped me and showed be identification, informed me that Dream was under surveillance, that they have video evidence of Johns entering and leaving the establishment. That they have girls inside that are cooperating and and Johns and that they wanted me to cooperate. Tried to get me to corporate with threats, I pled the 5th and told them I would not corporate. He then gave me his police detective card and said if I changed my mind to call him. Look I really didn't have to say anything but felt that I should so take it how you want and make fun, we will see.

This sounds plausible. I think LE could have just tried to get guys to admit they're going there for certain services. I think you did the right thing not saying anything to them. If they really had girls who are cooperating, they would have closed it down by now. Why do they need guys to cooperate if they got the girls already? It seems LE wants you to admit to doing something suspect so they can bust you right then and there. It could have even been some cleaver robs trying to get you to admit to something, so they can blackmail you too. Who knows.

Anyone else have a similar experience?

BEWARE. After coming out of happiness, I noticed a few dudes hanging around across the street in front of Happiness. I came out and turn right to cross the street. One of the dude, about 5'6" stalky guy wearing a big gold chain followed me very close to me.

He can go to Happiness if he didn't spend his money on a big gold chain. If I could walk that way, I would run to the DMC.

From the way I've read your posting, you were about to walk into Dream, and some guys standing nearby outside said, "Psst, hey you! We're detectives who are surveilling this place, and we're working to shut it down." Am I correct? Why would they openly reveal such confidential LE info to you? I'm assuming they don't even know you from Adam. To me, this just doesn't add up the way it was written. Maybe you can please clarify? Finally, why would they single out Dream? It's just another AMP. Personally, I think HPD surveils all of the AMPs.

Also, the closing of GoGo Spa and Empire (and Mayflower) were cases with different circumstances.

I politely ask him if he's a cop twice and he says no he works right there pointing past the elevators and that he's been wanting to check it out. So I ask him You sure you're not undercover! Just FYI for future protection of your individual civil liberties, asking a cop "if they are a cop" does nothing to protect yourself from making an incriminating statement. Police are absolutely allowed to lie in response to that question during their investigations. Now on the otherhand, if you were just asking in this instance bc you didn't know whether to help a future-monger out then I can see why youd ask him that LOL.

Porn star Kandi Barbour was just waitressing there because she was pregnant. I gave her 20 dollars for a beer. She just brought back a beer and no change. You can google her and see how hot she was in the early 1980's. She died a couple a years ago homeless in SF. So, she probably had some mental issues. We can let it go when she's hot. But, when they get older, we don't care.

What a memory you have. I remember Kandi in her 90's days down there, really chubby by then and ALWAYS with same black top with "Flashdance" shoulder showing. She lived upstairs from club and always had closing shift. She didn't seem all there and was very loud also. Didn't know she passed.

That was kinda how I felt after I left, ha and it was not a add problem, I said 2 10's, it was only 1 plus 7 20's=150 I took 200 in with me that is what I got from atm. I gave momma 2 20's a 5 and 6 ones (I did not realize this, she gave me dollar back is how I found out) so 50 to hf. Now maybe I should have just stopped and got big bills like one other suggested, and at least 20's and 10's, but I did not want to be late to appt with dallas as I was lucky to get one, and 1st customer of day, so I did not stop to ask for change, the small change / bills I had on me, the 20's from atm. Totally agree. Dream is in no danger than any other AMP. Seems like we are doing exactly what some people out there want us to do. Keep talking about it and try to deter customers. Heard it before after the GoGo bust that happiness and Rejuve is next. Dream is getting more popular so seems like someone want to put the fire out. Let's just move off the subject and post reviews about our sessions like it was intended for.
