Visiting from up north and have been doing some research that needs confirming. Looking for a little SW while doing some contract work. It seems as if Kensington is the hot spot. Would it be good time to stroll on through after work hours between 5-8 or would traffic draw too much unwanted attention. I have also heard from a few aquaintences that the man does not really spend too much time worrying about that side of town. Any info would be appreciated. Also would not mind suggestions for a place to pop in and out of for a few hours so any suggestions.

The 2 replies below are dead on. Listen well. Kensington Ave has all the charm of 80's Beruit. It is a warzone. Plenty of contestants will be out during normal drive times before and after work. The area is a run down shopping district full of refurbished appliance centers, pawn shops, $6 barber shops, and places that sell clothes for $10. The residents are beyond caring about you but you still have to play it smart and be aware at all times. Try not to get caught behind a bus so you have optimal sight lines. Good Luck.

If your "acquaintances" told you that, you need to get better acquaintances! That is just plain silly and wrong. Read the post below by Gator145. He speaks the truth and is one of the most experienced mongers in Kensington.

Of course, like he says, one is always free to try to re-invent the wheel and become a doughnut (to be get scarfed up by LEO). Yeah, that nasty, arrogant and stupid "book learning" versus "teachable moments" (arrests) and "The School of Hard knocks! (rip-offs or worse)".

Never, never underestimate LEO. The first time you do you will regret it. Just because one might not see a presence does not mean they are not there. They have a number of tricks up their sleeve that would have Harry Houdini shaking his head. Last night I saw four cars pulled over in a two block span. Keep in mind if there is any reason for them to call PPA to tow your vehicle they will jump on it in a heartbeat just to get you off the street. I have been known to say the strip is my turf. The reality of it all is its Uncle Leos turf. Never lose sight of that fact. If you do you will be on the dirty end of the stick.

I have seen LEO undercover walking right along side of the junkies. Dressed just like them. Staggering just like them. Don't be fooled into thinking they are not there simply because you don't see them. They will walk right up and beg for a smoke or change just to try to blend in.

Another sneaky tactic they use is the El train platform. Especially the Tranny cops. They will go from station to station and one will have no idea they are up there watching what goes on down below. They watch the girls, the mongers, the junkies, and just about everything that moves. I've seen LEO in Sears vans, hardwood flooring vans, beat up junkers and just about anything that moves riding the strip.

Yesterday 2-7-17 they planted an attractive girl in the 7-11 at Ontario and Kensington. They bagged a few guys there. The average guy wouldn't know they was there but I sat about 100 feet away just watching their game go down. They won each and every time. As soon as a price was discussed BAM they came down on the guy like a ton of bricks.

I sat there wondering what part of OZ these guys was from. First the 7-11 is and always has been a free coffee and donut stop for LEO. Who the hell in their right mind would try to pick a girl up there. LEO hangs there for hours at a time. Both plain clothes and uniformed. These guys that got busted because of sheer stupidity. There's five dozen seasoned mongers reading this right now shaking their heads at how foolish these guys was. They had to be "PECKER DRUNK". If not then they just had no idea what the hell they was doing. These are the same guys I spoke of in past reports that haven't a clue what they are doing out there. They see a woman and immediately think she's working. Why didn't they just go to the station house walk in and ask the desk sergeant for a date. The end result would have been the same. If anybody is going to try to pick up a girl at freebie central for LEO, that is 7-11 or Dunkin Donut or any other place cops get freebies, they better be very low key. It's like walking into the lions den to remove a steak. You will lose every time there's under cover there. The sheer stupidity of this is not everybody going into 7-11 was looking for some strange. So that tells me LEO had a good idea who they was after. Taking it a step further. 7-11 has a bunch of cameras and is about as up front and public as it gets. Why the hell would one try to get a blowjob there. My guess is they had been either shot down, rejected, and more so many times they threw caution to the wind and just went for it. Well they got exactly what they deserve for being so damned foolish. They might just as well ride up and down the strip with an "I need pussy" sign duct taped to the back of their car. I don't know how many times Cephlapod Love has repeatedly stressed the importance of the 22 rules for mongering and being safe. People write these posts because we have seen this happen over and over. The more we try to assist guys with the hobby the more we see other guys think they have a better method or a better idea. When that happens they open the door for trouble. And trouble they will have. The ADA sits back and laughs at this lack of respect for the law. They will throw the book at guys like this. I don't want to come across as holier than thou or a bible thumper because I'm just not that. It just burns my ass so much when I see these horn toads riding up and down the Ave without a clue as to what they are doing. Then turn into a cops hang out to try to get laid. It took me hours to stop laughing just so I could write this post.

In regards to your question about the best time to be on the strip. Anytime you find girls out there is a good time. That is unless they have a badge. Me, I'm just an 'OL Gator.

Once it gets dark and I stroll home starting from K and A to the great northeast there is a slew of vehicles pulled over. Anywhere from a cab or tow-truck and almost anyone with an out of state tag. I personally had LEO on my butt for 10 blocks but I am sober and totally legit. Many of newbies have a SW shotgun. Don't do it. For so reason LEO has NOT much to do so they target this area. Circled the block where she was standing, parked far enough off the ave, she hopped in, and off we went to a pretty quiet street. On the way, of course I get the "rent is due today" speech. There's been a lot of chatter recently about stepped-up law enforcement on the Kensington Avenue stroll. Even if this is the case, it doesn't seem to be affecting much. My hunting hours are generally limited to right before work on my way to the office in the morning, or returning home between 5 and 7 pm, and I've had no issues finding providers. In the mornings, I've seen blond tatted Kelly, tall Chrissy, blond Tanna, blond with pink highlights Nikki, and many more. I have heard that cute young brunette Olivia has been in jail for about the past two weeks, and blond Kayla I think has also been taken in, which I'm just assuming because she was always out, and now she suddenly isn't. I also just met another skinny Nikki at Tioga the other morning who had a slow, methodical but completely monster DT game.

Early evenings have yielded a different and largely new crop of providers, most of whose names I can't recall. Chubby Sara is one, there's been a very cute new blond down near the bull, many others, including dirty blond Holly on Torresdale (and I mean that dirty in the best possible way). Well, well, well There she is. Izzy is a sweet and very talented girl. She has been around for a few years 4-5 at least. Went through a lot of changes in that time.
