After finding out that my favorite was out of town, I saw an ad for this new spa and decided to check it out. It is located in an office park in North Springfield. I called ahead as requested in the ad and made an appointment. Parking was readily available. This is a very upscale spa. Paint, wallpaper, and flooring are all new. I met Amy who was managing and sole provider for the day at the counter by the door. She showed me a menu of types of massage available. She says there will be more therapists after New Years. As I had just left home freshly showered, I didn't ask if there was a table shower or shower available. Amy is in her late 20's or early 30's and in great shape. English is pretty good. She started with a foot soak and scrub. Following that I hopped on the heated massage table and she gave an outstanding massage, probably the best I've received in a spa. No muscle group was left untouched. After the flip, she pointed and asked if I wanted anything else. I replied if course and she provided an above average NOVA finish. A thorough clean up followed by more massage. Since it was my first visit, I didn't push and managed to experience some OTC. She mentioned that next year they will offer couples massage and showed me the room allocated for it. There is a lot of money invested on the spa. I will be back.

+1 on Amy's massage and the Spa Sung experience. It's a very nice space, and looks like an upscale spa. Amy did a great deep-tissue massage, and focused on the hot spots, rather than just mechanically go through the motions. The foot soak and scrub at the beginning is another nice touch. I would definitely return.

Some comment on the fairness (or lack of fairness) of being shorted on time. Some comment that once they've enjoyed their ending, they don't care much about the time. Good for all of you. For me, part of the enjoyment is in taking the time (I want to enjoy the total experience. If it was just about ending, I can do that at home for free). So, part of my evaluation is based on getting close to the hour.

Annandale Wellness is a very nice place. The ladies (I've seen three different ladies, including the MMS) are all nice, pleasant, physically fit. And each has provided me a quality massage experience.

I have never been shorted on time at AW.

Standard rates. Standard tips accepted, but if you have a very good experience, recommend generosity.

I'm with you in that I expect to receive the full hour if that's what I paid for. Every masseuse is a little different when it comes to when she has the client flip and when she goes for the finish. And every client is a little different as to how long they hold out. But if the finish comes early the therapist can do the cleanup and then continue with the massage until time is up. No excuse, IMHO, to short the client on time. That hasn't happened to me very often but, when it has, I usually reduce the tip by 5 or 10 and explain to the girl that full tip requires full time. She may give me the pouty face but she'll know I'm not a sucker who can be played.

Hello Johnn. Welcome to the board.

I'll spare you the usual lecture about how you need to invest time in reading the forum and then go out and do your own research and contribute to the community before asking questions. I'll even answer your question, since it's really kind of a non-answer:

All the Asian massage parlors in Northern Virginia that advertise in the usual place with the enticing photos, etc. , are essentially the same. True, some might have a reputation for older or younger providers or more or less enthusiastic service, but in truth there is more variation based on which provider you draw and how they react to you and your presentation of self.

As to Corner, I have not been there since they changed their name, but chances are if you go in with regionally appropriate expectations, you will be well served. So check it out. Have a good time, and report back. You'll find community here and great information if you make the investment.

Many options in Centreville, so I drove to a shopping center before I decided who to contact. I often prefer independents, so tried calling Stephanie from BP, but she wasn't available until much later and said her roommate was not in town today. So I thought about Nalee or Amy at her place, but then decided I would try to see Cindy at Miko's. No answer first time, but decided to drive over and call again. I got an answer, but no go, she was busy. So I hadn't been to the other place around back in a long time, so decided I would try there, and if they were busy, I still had options.

Great attitude and I will recommend and visit again.

She never asked about the gratuity, which was much appreciated and I rewarded her effort and attitude appropriately.

Jenny gives a very good massage gives you the full hour covering the front and back. There is no table shower and no extra is available just a very good massage. Her price right now is 49 normal price is 60. Her help rotates and some times you can get a happy ending from one of them. Never seen more than two girls working. I decided to take a chance on an old place I use to visit a few times several years ago, even a little older than that. Smile, in Chantilly, on the lower end of "Paris". Those that are familiar with the area, will know another KAMP is on the "upper Paris" facing the road.

Tina was my provider and I was already sporting wood as she was wearing some tight jean short shorts and a tight little T-shirt. Nice little body on her for a mid-age Korean. So as you know little head took over and I opted for an hour even thought I told myself before I was only doing half hour just to feel the place out.

TS was ok, no real playing as she was probably feeling me out. Back to the room, the massage was ok. I probably would opt for the half hour based on a so-so massage skills. Nova plus activities but her nips are very sensitive so breast feeding and just doing touchy feely was off the table. She did this thing with you between her legs that Suzy does at the other place around the corner. No FS, so don't get all excited. As I said, little head got the best of me so I overtipped from my usual. But she finished up the rest of the massage and I was out in accordance with the Korean AMP one hour time limit (45 min). As I was getting dressed, we chatted for a little bit, just to make the first connection and see if she would be amicable for further activities outside the spa. She told me the good ole' "next time" bit so I think I'm going to write this place off. Possibly a little more on the menu if takes a good feeling towards you but without being able to breast feed, I don't think she is worth pursuing. As I said before, I just wanted to take a chance and see how this place was after a long hiatus from visiting it.

Overall I would rate it as a Not Recommended. Sometimes the little head gets the best of us but I don't consider it a huge lost since my last bad little head experience would probably be about 4 years ago. LOL.

I personally prefer Nikki because firstly she has the nicest Thai cans I've ever seen in NoVA, but more importantly she is far more consistent service wise and very welcoming. She is a lot less business like with me than when I've seen Nalee, and I've been to Nalee several times to establish that rapport. That being said I've never ever ever gotten the upsell from Nikki. She's been able to do some things for me that I'd expect to pay a big tip for (no FS however, I fucking wish though). At the end of the day it is still very much business otherwise they wouldn't be doing this for your own pleasure, your just going to have to accept the fact that some days are going to be good and some days will be bad.

It's very possible she just didn't like you enough to be more accommodating as a new client. I've had AMP's that others recommended on here in the past provide nothing like what was 'expected' and / or described. I imagine a lot of these providers are skeptical of first time clients and are less willing to invest in keeping them coming back which is why you got the upsell fee off the bat. I imagine they see it like this, establish a higher fee and quality of service so you don't come to expect a same or cheaper rate with the higher quality of service. I wouldn't be too discouraged though the AMP NoVA game has always been unfairly balanced in terms of quality of service and the required fees.

If you want more on the cheap and still a really good quality service, I'd absolutely recommend Amy at the Nalee establishment. She said she's leaving very soon (maybe?) and for the price you can absolutely negotiate something far more accomodating to your tastes. She is far more willing to bend to your needs and preference I've found.

Don't refrain from asking questions, amigo, and don't fret the fact that you committed a common newbie mistake. Just be aware that, until you build up sufficient "board cred" for people to know you better, it's going to be tough to receive an answer to that type of question. The key is participation.

Members here might've appreciated knowing what you found. I'm not trying to be a prick about it, and I'm certainly not trying to tell you how often to post nor even that you must post. Generally speaking, though, it's considered a common courtesy that if one is asking for info, one should also have a track record of posting info. But, if you'd rather lurk in the background, feeding off the info that others post, that's your decision and prerogative.
