It is very slim chance that undercover would do a outcall. The whole point of a sting is to be safe and have all the control of the monger. They don't want to put a female officer at more risk by putting them in a area they don't have control over. Plus this is a misdemeanor arrest. They are not going to go threw all the trouble of driving all over.

Use Cash for the recharge of time and minutes. Then the only link is how you activate the phone. I was in a hurry and used my regular phone but figured that I'm not hiding from the FBI. If planning to use it for a bank job, activate with a public phone and buy the phone on Halloween while wearing a gorilla suit. That will take care of surveillance cameras in the place of purchase.

That's good to know. Thought I had read somewhere that the smart phones use 1 minute per text but could easily be mistaken. I DO know for sure that the 'dumb' tracfone I have only uses 3 tenths of a minute per text.

Someone on another thread asked if you could do this and the answer is yes. Sending varies by carrier. Just search the web for "Send text to carrier-name phone from email" or use the website that WhyMe50 referenced in the Backpage thread. For instance, if you're sending a simple text to a Verizon phone, you would send an email to aaaxxxnnnn@vtext.com. If you want to include a picture, send the email to aaaxxxnnnn@vzwpix.com. The first is SMS and the second is multimedia. The aaaxxxnnnn is the ten digit phone number. To send a text from phone to computer email, just send the text or picture to the email address.

Agree on Tracfone. Since you "live in woods" just be careful which TF phone you buy. The model will dictate network. Had a bad experience with a TF model on T-Mobile network. ATT & Verizon network worked well and now look for Verizon models when I upgrade because worked so well. I've gone to the TF Smartphone side a while ago since on sale they were as cheap as the flip phone. I usually get the 90 day airtime card with 60 value. Smartphones get 3 x value (usually stated on phone box when purchased) so you get 180 voice minutes AND 180 text messages AND 180 MB of data. As long as I turned off cellular data until I need and primarily used wifi, had no problem staying within these values. These Andriod phones are amazing for the price. Do all my monger email and web surfing on it. This website is always open and automatically logged in from my TF smartphone. I like having all mongering activities on one annonymous device. Can even have a second phone number set up, kik texting, get pics sent to you etc. Understand the simplicity of the flip phone, but once I got a taste of the smartphone side can't go back.

I bought a totally piece of shit TracPhone flip phone three or four years ago for 10 bucks, pay about $60 a year for minutes, and really wish the damn thing would die so I could upgrade to a $30 smart phone model. It is a total pain in the ass to text, but I have gotten pretty good at it and the voice quality really sucks, but there have been two times since I got it when my AT&T iPhone couldn't get signal but the TracPhone did. Seems they piggyback on all the cell services so if there is cell service available it will find it. At least, that's what I read on the Internet so it must be true.

Plus one here on the elcheapo flip trac phone. That pos has lasted 5 years or so. When I ask someone if they can email instead of texting OMFG you would think I am asking them. To speak German.

Trac phone tip of the day, google trac phone bonus codes, there is a website or two that have some bonus codes for free extra minutes, normally 30-90 depending on how many are being purchased. Every little bit helps.
