Orchid and the others in that block are closing down because of development. One of the things the developer mentioned as a plus for their plans is "replacing the sleazy businesses across from the convention center".

To be replaced by sleazy oligarchs from China, the Middle East and Europe seeking to hide their money in multi-million dollar condos.

I always parked in the back to. Why worry about malasada place. You park in front or on side streeet, you have the whole Beretania to worry about. Plus you can exit from the back door, which comes out right near the back and side lane.

I was joking about the Malasadas but that place can get pretty packed. There is actually a high fence between the two properties.

I haven't been to Pennys in years but used to frequent that location when it was Narita, a long time ago.

I was wondering if you could do that. It would make it very discreet except if you go when the malasada crowd is next door.

Years ago the fence in the front was surrounded with shrubbery which would make it hidden from Beretania.
