It's a common monger Big Brother fantasy (rooted, I suspect, in the fact that mongers like to think of themselves as real criminals, jewels to make a prosecutors career, versus the tiny nuisance they're actually considered) which has no actual ability to ever come to pass.

There probably ARE law enforcement folks who are senior members of this forum. Some (like many) are probably motivated by simple curiosity; it's a form of pornography for them. Some may actually be go-getter types trying to bone up (hah!) on their knowledge of "the scene" (or rather, the monger view of it, since LE already know more about the street scene than any monger does), resigned to the fact that they can never actually use anything they learn. Some (most?) are probably actual mongers who use the site just like anyone else: to learn whom to see, and whom to avoid.

Have you had any luck leaving happy from here? I used to go every couple of weeks and it was always legit.
