Gents,

I liked all the comments about the recent up-selling efforts by Anna of Thai Pattaya and that most of us did not appreciate this approach. I contributed to this conversation as well. Good job everyone!

There is another new provider in town that is trying a similar up-selling approach, so I thought I would share. Her name is Kiko and she is currently working out of Siam Thai Massage. First off, the photo is a much younger version of her (see link to CL ad below). She is ok looking, but older than the photo and a little on the chubby side. Made an appointment and she stated her hourly rate was $80/ hour, not $60 and hour like all the other Thai providers. When asked about the higher hourly rate, she stated that if I was unwilling to pay the $80/ hour that I should go elsewhere. As a curious customer I decided to proceed. Was hoping that her skills and service were so great that she was trying to set herself apart and it would be worth it.

Nothing great about the massage, pretty standard on the backside. Just prior to the flip, she started in with the light finger tips and brushing of Jr. On the flip, the up-selling efforts began. Similar to Anna's approach, but less greedy, mainly because she was not as hot and did not have as much to offer in terms of visible assets. I went in for the commitment to HE and then had to negotiate a little more for her to take off her top. Ended up giving her a bit more than my standard tip. In addition, after the HE, the massage was over, she did not finish with massage of legs on the front, or any chest, head or face massage, which I personally like.

Wanted to share this experience with fellow hobbyists; this type of service needs to be extinguished as it takes away from the enjoyment of a relaxing massage with HE.

Had a chance to see Anna recently and the reviews on her are spot on. She asked for the tip up front. I gave her $60 and described what my expectations were for the 60 min. Session. I was up front about what I wanted. She then asked for more tip. I gave her $20 more and said that's it. I got my long and sensual light fingertip / fingernail massage, including the HE. She complained that I should be giving her more tip since she is providing a the light massage per my special request. I didn't give her more. I did enjoy the HE but not without feeling like she had all the power since I already tipped her. So it was hard to ask for anything more. I am glad I tried her since she is leaving indefinitely tomorrow. I don't think I would go to her again. L=7, S=6, A=4 (she didn't smile at all and only did minimum post-tip service).

I saw her too. I agree with you that she is overly aggressive on being tipped.

Tip should be appreciated and not expected and demanded like she does.

We should all boycott this woman. I would rate her looks as a 4 and her service as a -10!

She said her last day is today and be going back to LA and returning to Hawaii later.

I wanted to tell Nikki (owner of Thai Pattaya) what a bad apple this person is and how adversely she affects her business.

Same building, try next cubicle over. Located in the same room number separated by a wall. There's only one shower there so timing is key. I tried Stella and all I got to say is LOSE MONEY. 75/ hr for just massage? I can drop 60 everywhere else for that matter.

Ok. I've seen both historically. Not Stella tho since she moved locations. I'm wondering if they saw me with the other if that would be issues. I go have my massage to relax and be away from woman issues and drama and I wouldn't want being seen with the other therapist being an issue. I would probably stick with Linda for my massages and only see Stella for her version of nuru, but not if it caused an issue.

One thing I found interesting the last time I was there was that in this shared space there are also male therapists. Some that practice with the door openned and others with door closed. So I'm waiting in the seat in the front and out from a closed door comes out this middle aged haole blond lady who got a massage from the guy. She kinda seems like she is in the wrong place and should be at a spa or something nicer but she comes out wearing sun glasses inside the building which to me seemed even more out of place (even though I have my sun glasses on too waiting, LOL). But I know why I'm there and keeping a low profile makes sense, but it was like she was trying to keep a low profile also.

It made me think if the mongering there goes both ways for both genders. Maybe I'm wrong but it was funny to see a woman dart out of there with sunglasses and hat looking like she's trying to keep everything on the down low like she was one of us. LOL.

I'm perplexed as to why a seasoned Monger, after reading the reviews would still go to her? And, giving tip money up front! A HF or massage fee, which is acceptable to pay up front, whether it's $60 or more is for the service (period)! A tip like anywhere else is for service rendered above and beyond what you payed for. Would you do this at a restaurant? You're comment was spot on, "she had all the power". That's what happens when you let Jr do the thinking for the one on your shoulders. But, it's your cash, Monger On!

I was fully aware that I broke the "never tip up front" rule of mongering. Practically broke the "overtipping" rule too. $80 for a HE for fully clothed and no roaming is $20 too much. I was obviously thinking with the little head! I don't usually go to Thai massage so I guess I wanted to try a sure thing before she leaves. The last time I tried Thai (Pinky), I ended up blue balls.

Been seeing Thai and Jessie for the past 6 weeks. They both give nice massage. I like Jessie's massage better cause she gives more pressure. I never tried FS with Vicky or cherry but with Gina it wax $.80. But on the normal HE at $. 20.

I complained about it my first time when I was short. After that sessions after been that full hour.

Thanks. I've never tried for more than he but I'm not the most assertive guy. Maybe that's why they know they can short me on time. I remember once on the flip she takes a call and says "I should be ready in like 15 minutes" and now I feel the pressure knowing the next person is showing up soon and I got to finish and get out to avoid the awkward crossing paths with the walk of shame. I do tho give Royal credit for their effort as they may be rushing you and cutting you on the front end of your massage but there never seems to be a lack effort and attention on the back end.

Yes she does look different, but that's the same number.

I tried her once a while back but was not convinced I should repeat. I did not mind that no play was available or that roaming of any kind however slight was not allowed; what did it for me was that she was just too uptight from even before the session started.

Good customer service counts even in the mongering world IMO. Perhaps she reserves that for guys she finds gorgeous.

Cookie / Candy at Hiran Massage is totally uptight too. Won't allow.

Any touching of even her hands. Being so uptight about not being touched.

Is a total turnoff and is bad service I think.
