Took a run through the South Loop Sun morning about 8 looking for Hannah / Bambi. It started raining just before I got there, not a downpour but steady, so I didn't expect much to be moving. Guess SW ain't no weatherman, because there were at least 8-10 SW's out. No sign of Hannah / Bambi and nothing else interested me enough to scoop. Took a trip around the loop this morning. Nothing. Empty streets. It was about 830 am but I've seen ladies out at 6 am. The girls are slacking. Ill shoot back down later. But once the heat kicks up I'm thinking the streets will be empty again.

I agree. That was me last year. I was a senior here under a different name until I had a very near miss and dumped everything for a period of time. I was standing at the back door of a BP Provider in a shitty neighborhood with my cell phone in hand. LEO was watching the house because of complaints from neighbors about traffic levels. They knew why I was there. I knew why I was there. Everyone knew why I was there. But I was "Yes Sir, no Sir, how high would you like me to jump Sir and when may I come down. " I had a cover story and stuck to it while they made me jump through every hoop in the book for 45 minutes. Eventually they let me go with a lecture. But I realize how lucky I was, that it can't happen again. It made me 1000 times more paranoid and 10000 times more careful. That's why I try and always have a regular, never go to their place, pick them up somewhere different.

But yeah. I don't think the casino is going to cut it. Figure a location that's way lower profile.

Regardless of what you say cops know you are lying. You are driving around on the known pussy stroll goose necking the hookers. Cops know you are hunting pussy. They run your plates and discover that you live on the other side of town. Chasing pussy on either the streets or backpage is nothing more than playing the percentages. They just finished running of the bulls in Spain and a few people were gorged by the bulls and one of the best matadors in Spain was killed. El Toro did not give a flying fucck about the matador. He fuccked him up. Score one for El Toro. So 99.9 people running with the bulls survived to rub their balls later. For me it's not about thinking that I am actually going to convince the cop that I'm NOT there hunting Pussy. I'm sure they've heard them all. For me it's all about having a plausible story all ready & waiting in my head so that I am able to deliver my excuse without stuttering & stammering all over the place. That would at least leave the cop with some doubt in his mind.

If I had to make up some lame excuse for cruising those streets in the heat of battle there's no telling what stupid stuff I might say & then LEO would know for certain that I was lying. Thankfully I have never been pulled over, but I don't go cruising that often. I do keep some low denomination casino chips in my car because I think that might lend a tiny bit of cred to my story. Having some sort of props with you to show the cop like casino chips or a Menards ad might just make the dreaded encounter go more smoothly.

If pulled over I think the probability is VERY high that the cop will ask where you are coming from & where you are going. At that point we have 3 choices as I see it:

1. I could admit that I am there hunting for pussy. Not advised.

2. I could tell LEO that he does not have the right to ask why I am cruising G Ave. Not a good idea either.

3. I could come up with some plausible reason for my presence there knowing full well that he will think I am BSing him.

I think #3 is the only logical choice. My far greater fear is actually getting caught in the act with a provider delivering service in the car. Try talking your way out of that one. At that point I think your best bet might be to "remain silent because anything you say, just ain't going to help". That's why most of my trips up and down those streets are for entertainment purposes only. Just window shopping. At my age I just don't think the risk vs reward is worth it any more. Problem is, with my meager hobby budget, all I can really afford is SW prices.

I used to teach and students would give me all kind of excuses for not turning in homework, mother died, computer messed up, got the claps, etc. I heard it all. So cops have been patrolling the streets for years. They have also heard it all too. In addition, they know the regular ho's. They probably banged a few of them like in Oakland. They know these ho's need to make money to stay alive. Busting johns is not essential to the broken window theory of policing cause solicitation does not lead to more serious crimes but they have to pop a few of you from time to time for deterrence to work. One of the best strategies to use is just be polite. They know you are hunting for pussy.
