Quite a big turnover in girls there recently. One girl lasted less than a week. She was offering a full menu of services and one of the dumbasses ratted her out to management and the owner pulled an undercover boss and fired her when she solicited him.

All due to some jerk running his mouth. They also fired a long time girl and hired TWO more new ones. They're starting to lose regulars there now from the mismanagement of the place.

That satisfies my curiosity as to why this place is what it is.

It's got the look, feel and setup of an extras place, but no follow through.

This place advertises on BP and IMO, that's horrendously misleading.

I will NOT be going back.

There's more but the girls are so so looking the massage is so so. You spend your money better elsewhere.

I have been there 4 times, legit massage by Alisa, very sensual, but nothing else. If you are looking for a great massage, she does it well. But that is about it from my experience. Anyone else have luck?

Yes I did go back further after I replied. Now I realize it is the downstairs which if I'm not mistaken had a sign posted out front for the longest time that said Avalon Spa. Regardless if what is written in previous posts is true and the house fee goes to the owner the tip is still only going to be 10-20 max on an hr massage without any HE.

Might just go to support the spa and get a TS and great massage. Place I've been going to does not have a TS and I really miss it, plus I'm dying to see what the place looks like.

Check the address out, sounds like a familiar place. Same address as NMS spa. No xtras? Hard to believe unless it is a different owner. No HE but tip to the therapist. Is the therapist going to be happy with a $10-20 tip!

I visited there last night.

But, before I begin the in-depth report, a few things ought to be realized:

(1) The name "North Main Street Spa" is gone; never to return. All that those of us that frequented it will have from it is memories. There will never be another like it, and it will never return.

(2) The new owner is Monica. Larry is out of the picture.

(3) The new name is Smiler's Day Spa. There is no sign as of yet, but I was informed perhaps this weekend, or early next week.

(4) It is located downstairs, on the street level, where the old NMS began, many years ago.

(5) The downstairs had been extensively renovated before the closing, and many of you were not aware of it, and / or never visited it.

It is gorgeous. Full table showers, sauna, and rooms done over in warm, real wood paneling. Some of the floors are marble; others are very nice soft tiles. The whole down stairs is immaculate, and very inviting.

For couples, there is a jacuzzi, and the room for it is what I am going to term as a romantic setting. Now, if I can find Mimi, she and I will give it a workout. But, for now, all I can do is dream!

Finally, my provider, June. She gave a very thorough table shower, and a very strong massage. She is fully licensed and has extensive training in massage therapy, as evidenced by her knowing all of the muscle groups. Easily the best massage I have had in years.

One has to realize that this new day spa offers strictly therapeutic massage sessions, and if you want a superb massage, it is worth a visit. Don't go expecting anything else.
