When I think back on my long mongering career, I can't think of many good experiences that happened while I was traveling for work. And even less so in bigger cities.

Why did I let it get that far? I think because I kept hoping to eek out something fun. And not admit that I'd already been scammed.

Why am I telling you this embarrassing story? Hopefully, you'll read it and realize some important lessons that I hope I learned:
