I wasn't "berating" a newb. I was merely pointing out the suspiciousness of the totality of the circumstances. Skepticism and cynicism are healthy traits in this hobby of ours.

And, I too was "berated" and even had my hand slapped by the mods when I was a newb. We all have to learn somehow.
