Wasn't the appearance of a girl recently debated here? I'm assuming Jazak was just clarifying the current appearance of a lady, who others may not have mentioned. Isn't that part of what this forum is about?

You state that drug addiction doesn't pick and choose, that it could happen to anyone of us, you're wrong. Drug addiction is the risk a person is willing to take. I've seen this argument in another thread and had a good laugh at all the so called experts on the subject. I've heard, peer pressure, domestic problems, job loss, and financial woes all lead to addiction. Yea right. Sure you can try to convince me that 20 million people succumbed to addiction for one of them reasons, but you can't explain the 100 million people facing the same daily problems who don't become addicts. Drug addiction is nothing more than the risk a person is willing to take.

Thank you for explaining this could not have said it better myself. By no means was I trying to down anyone that has a drug addiction. Just thought mongers should know that this SW is in rough shape and no longer looks like the photo's that were being posted. Also probably not a healthy choice to visit this SW. I don't comment much other's stuff but this post upset me. I actually thought about it for days. I had speak up on it.

"Why don't you guys show some photos of what the Saint looks like now? Because she sure does not look like the photo's you are showing. So because you have a problem with the guys that are posting pictures of Bella Saint when she was in her prime you make it a point to talk about her downfall and issues with drugs. That was a low blow. That girl has nothing to do with your issues with them. You sound like a bitter asshole on that one.

I don't call people out much on here. I don't like drama. But that just rubbed me the wrong way. That could happen to any of us at any given time. Addiction doesn't pick and choose who it can happen to. Also that could be your "ATF" in two weeks. For someone who cries they respect all WOMEN that surely doesn't seem like it.

This rat trap and other parts of the forum can be funny to read at times but when we start constantly laughing and commenting on other's issues of substance / alcohol abuse that is taking it a little too far. Maybe it is a touchy subject to me. Those of us who can handle addiction or never dealt with should be happy and thank god, and also not make it a point to continually put others on blast that have it. I am probably going to catch some shit for this one and I don't care. I am not going to argue over it, my point has been made.

But my forte was alcohol counseling. I've also worked with the mentally ill and developmentally disabled. Reasons for drug and alcohol addiction varies. It could be peer pressure for younger, more impressionable people, those who have had accidents or pain due to whatever circumstance, given prescription pain pills from a physician and get hooked and most commonly those who have various mental illness for an escape. Many people with schizophrenia become addicted to cigarettes, because it helps with their symptoms. A lot of people smoke pot due to anxiety or many other ailments. People who have diagnosis of bipolar or severe depression may use drugs to make them feel better. There are some who just want to try drugs for fun and never become addicted. Just my thoughts.

Although some of them don't know it or have never acted upon it. There are businessmen and successful engineers that are addicts. The thing is that they never hit that crack pipe or snorted those lines. So, they go on about their lives. If they hit the pipe even once, they would be done.

You see, that's the thing. People have drugs of choice. The meth head may not smoke pot but loves to snort. Certain people will try a drug one time and then they are hooked hopelessly. The best avenue is to never try the shit and then you'll never have a problem. People get in trouble when they are coerced by their peers to, "just try it and see if you like it. " They do it once and then, "boom," instant addicts.

Some lucky people are able to do drugs recreationally, once in awhile, and are able to control it. They also may not have tried their drug of choice yet. A person may be able to snort coke occasionally but if they tried Xanex, they'd be done. Others cannot control it for the life of them. It controls them, totally. For them, their entire life is about the drugs. They are constantly looking for it, trying to pay for it, scoring it, then doing it. Now repeat. It's really very sad.
