Thanks for taking the time to answer those questions. The only reason I commented in this forum in the first place was due having the other guys PM restricted or banned (whatever the term is). I don't read every forum so I have no clue what has or has not been discussed in the forums.

Its a trade off. We don't care if guys fight through PM's, none of the "list of phrases" has to do with arguments. We do care if members (or antiprostitution douchebags) use the PM system to threaten or harass members. Most of the infractions are not scanned for. Don't care if you want to tell one of your buddies that you think somebody has an STD, do care if it goes on the forum. Don't care if you PM somebody that I'm an asshole, I am an asshole. Don't care if two members discover that they are into M4 M through PM's. Most of the stuff on the policies and guidelines are not scanned for, we don't care if you take most of that shit private.

To answer; this issue has been addressed several times on the forum. In order to be helpful here it is again;.

3. Lots of stuff which takes us back to questions 1 and 2. We have around 20,000 PM's a day that go across the server. We have neither the time nor the interest to read them. As do nearly all operators of private messaging services like ours we utilize software on the server to scan PM's for different sorts of things, mostly the most egregious violations of the terms of service, threats, underage, trafficking, spam, promoting other web sites, shit like that. There's a list of phrases. Since it's not a human doing it, nobody is actually reading them. The server scans for particular variations of ones and zeros that signify those types of phrases. There is no comprehension of content. There are also behavioral triggers, X amount of posts per hour, X amount of posts per day, X amounts of posts from an account that has been dormant for X amount of time. It's all very standard stuff.

None of this is a secret, all of it is industry standard. While I realize that since you are looking for things to be righteously indignant about you will decry this as a gross violation of your privacy I'm betting that the majority of members would rather not have their inboxes choked up with spam about Viagra and hookers in India. I'm pretty sure that most of them would rather do without the messages from the local loonies that have issues with prostitution as a whole. We don't harvest data, we don't sell data, we do nothing with the data unless it is afoul of the terms of service then we delete it.

Earlier I said we get about 20,000 PM's a day across the server. I generally get alerts on 10-15 of them a week. So that means that of the 140,000 +- a week we end up looking at around 0. 010714285714285714% so yeah, PM's are pretty fucking private. Add to that the additional steps we have taken of locating the servers in a jurisdiction not under US control (to further protect our members privacy) and then I'd say Fucking A they are really fucking private.

Oh, and you specifically? You have never had a PM that tripped an alert, so you personally have nothing further to say on this issue because everything you have ever sent as a PM was private from beginning to end. Honestly, we really don't care about who you're trolling on the forum, or who has your panties in a wad this week. We just want you guys to post reviews and follow the terms of service while you do that.

Maybe there is some fine print that I didn't read about PMs being monitored or moderated. If they are not really "private messages" then I think a lot of us would like to know that.

He never lost the ability to post, he lost the ability to post without having his posts moderated because he insisted that he would continue doing what he's doing.

I still think he's an asshole and untruthful (I admit I'm not unbiased, he's kind of being a dick with me) but nobody has taken away his ability to post. PM's yes, he lost that right as well but he can post.

Here is an example of a guy who posted the same info and followed the rules. This chick hasn't just been charged, she's been convicted of aggravated prostitution as well. That means she has been tested, found positive, and informed of that status by a competent authority. There is no possibility of a mistake and guys do indeed need to know about her.



If any of you guys here saying you should be able to do this can do this, I won't throw a flag.
