What does "smoking gun" mean?

I don't want to be a bastard when I say this. But I thought I recalled someone getting a "smoking gun". If you know what I mean.

This isn't a review per se but I wanted to post this question to see what other guys think and also, with the hope that some SPs are reading this as well.

What makes you instantly decide that you won't respond to an ad on backpage?

For me, it's this:

1. Any fake pictures. Even if there are four of five pictures and only one of them is obviously fake or I can google search the image to find it's a fake, I assume all the photos are fake and I'm done.

2. When I see the insert "Real men don't negotiate, they tip". That's an instant no to the ad. I'm not a guy who negotiates a BP rate but that insert says to me "I'm going to upsell you or pester you for a tip".

3. One especially bad review or multiple reports of mediocre service from an SP in this forum.

4. A single report of a bait and switch. I won't even consider taking a chance if I see that mentioned.

Mine in no particular order.

1. I look for hygiene hints. Does her intimates match and do they appear clean, I detest dirty socks and ripped clothes underwear.

2. Fairly recent pics. I understand why some may not want to show their face but if your posting the same bodyshot scan from a 1985 polaroid.

3. Ad says upscale and your hosting in a slum, my fav.

4. Pics that reveal pimps or boyfriends- any selfie with a dude lingering in the background.

Am I the only one that finds it odd that an SP would refer to herself as a male horse? Would be disconcerting to find out she was a he.

A lot of females wrongfully refer to themselves as 'Stallions" if they possess strong hips, thighs, and ass.

Calling a female a 'Stallion' basically attested to the musculature of a Stallion, not the gender.

I've been out of the game for a while, but I wanted to post a visit to Chris. Based on the good reviews, I set up an appointment.

It took a few times to reach her the first time, but that made sense when I was at the appointment. I never heard her phone ring. When you're there, you're the center of attention. T was a standard 2 tier system to her house in Ypsi.

I am actually closer to Windsor than most of the northern burbs but I haven't found much intel on Windsor. The International version of this site doesn't have anything recent and other boards that are Ontario focused have little but the same 2 or 3 providers over and over again. I saw her once when she was in Saint Clair Shores years ago. She's a clock watcher, you won't get your time, and basically wants you to "cum and go".

Along with the above mentioned I usually do the following:

1. I look at the person's expression in the pics. An angry, bitter look or the popular "duck lips" usually turns me off and makes me cautious.

2. If the SP provides SS. Usually it means they're high volume. I like personable non rushed experiences.

3. PRoviders who are "call only when ready no BS etc. " are a turn off.

4. "No Texting" is a red flag.

5. Finally if they pass all the requirements including texting back promptly not the next day (I actually had a girl text me back 3 weeks later asking me what time.

I wanted to see her.) I call them to see how responsive and friendly they are on the phone as well get them to agree to the menu.

For the most part this has served me well but also makes for slim pickens.

All good points, thank both of you. I would add: anything in the ad remotely like "leaving town soon / only here until 12 AM, HURRY!" So you're rushing me before I've even called you. Good business model, dumbass.

I ask one question: Who took the pic? Basically in 2015 if it's not a selfie with her holding the phone it reeks of red flag.
