You may show up as a suggested friend, but it won't automatically show them your profile. If you've managed your privacy settings appropriately (everything should be set to "only me") then you'll be fine (assuming of course you didn't give you SB your real name, and you're not using a picture of yourself on your FB page. It's possible I'm wrong, but if you search for someone on facebook and then don't friend request them, then facebook will show this person to you under suggested friends. I don't believe it will show them your profile.

A lot of the babies are on it and I've used it for a few of them. My only problem with it is that there isn't a laptop version. I'm a touch typist, so like using my laptop for texting, email, etc. Rather than my iPhone keyboard (yeah, I'm an older fart, LOL). But, if it works for the baby who am I to complain. I think the best browser to use for privacy is Firefox. I use it for my extracurricular activities. Its privacy settings are the best, and you can ask it to forget any website. Once it forgets, it forgets. It won't autofill in the name of any naughty website for you.

With the other browsers, you WILL forget to go private or incognito, and type in a naughty website in the browser bar. When you do that, you will have no other choice but to delete the browser from your hard drivev and reinstall it.

Not so with Firefox.

All of the browsers will let you set them to not remember cookies / autofill / history etc. Between sessions, it's just a matter of configuring it to do so. I assume with Firefox you're referring to setting it to always be in private mode? That's one option, although Firefox is a bit idiotic in the sense that it doesn't show you visual confirmation that you're in private mode.

IMO the best thing to do is to not share a computer with the SO, but if you must, the next best solution is to simply develop good habits of going into private mode when you want privacy of session. Once you extend an effort to just get in the habit of hitting ctrl-shift-p or ctrl-shift-and or whatever before you browse to the naughtiness, it will become second nature. If you do slip up you can clear it all out in any browser without needing to reinstall the browser.

Really if taking that one precaution is difficult, then much more serious mistakes are looming in the future for any married guy playing in the bowl or anywhere else for that matter.

You should never search for SB's with your real FB account. Any search you do, will show up on the person you are searching for "friends you might know". If the SB scrolls through that.
