Anyone know which clubs are closed today for the holiday? I know the Hamilton clubs are open since they are never closed, I'm wondering more about the middle to higher end clubs. Criket, BTs, Penthouse, Flight Club? Thinking of heading out later.

There's nowhere near Novi that I'm aware of, so it looks like you'll have to make the drive to Detroit, Dearborn or downriver. It's hard to give you a hook up on the pricing or best times, since you haven't stated a price range, type of girl that you like or what you're looking for them to do. If I had to choose, I'd say go after 7 pm, because there are typically more girls on night shifts at the clubs. It's been a long time since I've been to BT's, Penthouse or the Landing Strip. From my experience, BT's was good about 2-3 years ago (approximately my last visit), Penthouse was good and the Landing Strip was no fun at all.

From Novi, take the 96-E to the M-5 east and you're on 8 mile in 10 min. The closest club from there is Trumps and then PHC is a few miles further down. That's your best option from Novi, IMO.

Stopped in Thursday night and they had some new talent that I haven't seen before. Total of eight dancers two AA and six Caucasian. They had about 30 customers in the bar the most I have seen in awhile. I only stayed for just over an hour to see the rotation of girls on stage. My favorite was not working this fine July evening so I went on my way. The waitress did tell me that they had been raided recently and hit with a fine. I did see a WSW as I was leaving standing on the corner on John are.

I know its a pretty lame report but it is what it is.

Can't say I've ever had any luck at the Criket. I've been there several times, mostly recently several months ago, and the only female to pay any attention to me was the waitress. She was hot, but not a dancer. While fun can be had here, so I've heard, it seems to be a regulars bar and the secret to having fun at a regulars bar is to be a regular. That's pretty hard to do on a first-time visit. Plus, the VIP area only has one booth with privacy booth; the rest of it is couches in plain view.

I'd suggest either BTs / Dearborn or the Landing Strip. Either can vary talent-wise on a given night, as any club can, but both should be better in that respect than either Bogarts or H8.

Went to PH this afternoon, arrived around 12:30. Not many girls working, maybe 6, with about the same number of patrons. Went to the bar upstairs and spotted Taya. She came over and sat down right away. She is very hot, tall, and slim. Dark hair and eyes, she said she is Sicilian. She has a nice set of bolt ons that are just the right size. I prefer natural titties, but hers are nice. We agreed to FS for $200, after she first quoted $300. Got her in the back and it was just ok. She would absolutely not kiss or let me DATY. BJ was covered but good. Moved to CG and the view there was amazing, stood up and flipped her into mish and pounded away, but she kept reaching down to make sure the cover was still on, kind of a buzz kill. Right when I was finishing she was like "ok, were done", and made me pull out right in the middle of my O, WTF. Not the best service so I will not repeat. Hearing that Henry's North / South, Bogarts and Silver Cricket should be the best places to go (even though they all apparently have had a decreased quality). Would appreciate a hook up on the pricing and best times to go to these places. Any place near Novi I should be aware of?

I agree with the above summary. I visited a couple of weeks ago on a Thursday and a Friday. I had a great time at BTs Dearborn, Silver Cricket, and H8 North. Back in March I reported a similar story. Unfortunately both trips had lame stops at Flight Club.

Now I'm not trying to flame incognito, but he has posted several times lately with his disappointment, including detailing how he didn't even leave his house. Personally I think that is the sort of thing to keep to yourself (you're not providing intel or answering questions).

If you read back a few weeks, you will see several positive reviews of H8 and, and of Bogarts. If you read back a full year, you will find very few (if any) positive reviews of H8 South. Why would a reader of this forum visit H8 South and be surprised in any way that it's not fun these days?

If you don't like smoke (I'm a non-smoker), don't go to known smoking clubs and then complain about it. In case you didn't know, you can smoke freely at Bogarts, H8, and upstairs at Flight Club. Almost all of these dancers smoke, it's a very small percentage that don't smoke. So either sit with them while they smoke, or ask them to take a smoke break somewhere else. If those at not options, perhaps visit somewhere else.

One final snarky comment from me: too many mongers are too picky about looks. Yes it's your money, spend it how you want. But when I step into a club, I'm looking to bust a nut, not marry a model. If I can't do it with the hottest girl in there, then I'm looking for the next hottest one. I keep looking until I find someone who agrees to what I want to pay, and they are good looking enough to get junior's attention. Actually I usually look for previously reviewed dancers first, regardless of looks, then I start with the countdown.

Enjoy your visits, guys. There are very few places in the country where you can get the level of service The Dee offers.

I respect the courtesy given, however, I would like to point out that I actually did provide intel with my report of staying home and I didn't think you had to read between the lines to understand the message that was being conveyed.

The summary of my post (and intel provided) is: The talent at H8S is so bad lately, that I decided not to make the drive because there was a possibility that the only dancer worth seeing wouldn't be there, so I stayed home instead. Thus, the reader of my post might consider alternative clubs as well, thereby saving themselves the drive, time and money.

As far as the repeated attempts of going back to H8S, yes, it does seem like an exercise in insanity. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. Apparently, I'm not the only one doing this, as echoed by Costanza. No doubt, plenty of others do as well.

Things change frequently in the clubs and while a good report of H8N or Bogart's may have been valid at that time, it may not be as valid now. All it takes is a couple of girls to go elsewhere or leave the business and then it's no longer worth the drive to go to the shift, or in the case of H8S, the club.

It's true that I don't like smoking clubs and I put up with it only long enough to find a girl that I want, do my thing and leave and lately, the choice has been much easier: avoid the smoking clubs. As I mentioned at the end of my post, the Cricket has been seeing a lot more of me lately. I have seen someone light up there but that issue seems to have been quickly addressed and management has a handle on it. I haven't been to BT's in quite a while, so maybe that's a club I should consider visiting again.

As far as the comment about being picky in regard to looks, you're right, I'm picky and I think most others are too. If just picking anyone who does the job for you at your price works for you, hats off to you, because you're ahead of the game.

For myself, I want someone attractive and who I normally wouldn't be able to get outside of one of these clubs. If I wanted older or obese women, there would be no reason to go because they're a dime a dozen. Without giving too much of myself away, I fall into the most frequent group of mongers: late 30's to early 50's, single, divorced or unhappily married. While I'm not poor, I'm not rich enough to be a sugar daddy and additionally, everyone has their reason for doing this: too much work, boredom, lonely, not satisfied with the wife or gf or maybe you just don't want to put the effort into the dating game. Regardless, I'm not a guy who's going to attract petite 20 ish girls in the outside world, so I go through the motions in the club. It's a mutually beneficial situation where we get to choose our beneficiary and I prefer my beneficiaries to be on the higher end of the attractiveness scale.

If you don't find what you want at one of the lower end clubs (Henry 8 and & S, Bogarts, etc.) there are still lots of mid and upper tier strip club options, including BTs Dearborn, Landing Strip, Flight Club, Penthouse, Coliseum, Players, etc. Depending on your negotiating skills, it may require a few extra dollars for a Private Dance but the options are impressive, even at the mid and upper tier clubs.

Yes, unfortunately, it's been horrid at H8S lately. H8N and Bogart's hasn't been much better, plus the smoke is so bad it's a deterrent for me to go to those clubs. H8S is also getting a bit more ghettoish, which isn't the greatest idea since it's Southgate and mostly a white club.

Additionaly, I mentioned in an earlier report that when I was at Bogart's about three weeks ago, they let in a few guys from a biker club wearing full colors. Think about it. If you allow guys to come in in full colors, what happens on a night where you let some of the Highwaymen in and then a few Scorpions walk in? The potential for disaster is very high and I don't want any part of that.

Anyway, H8's has definitely gone the porker and ugly route. The majority of the new girls who seem to be not just fat but extremely obese. A couple of others that I'm mentally picturing are simply unattractive. Who wants to go to a club and see that? I agree with you that Raven is nice to talk too but if I simply want conversation with a woman, I could pick a regular bar where it's less smoky and additionally, not have to pay $7 + for a drink. Montana has always been nice to me and Mia, while she can be abrasive, is ok. She seems to have tempered her attitude somewhat in the recent past (at least around me). Miranda was the blonde girl who was a stripper and also went by the names of Honey and Brooke. I was really having some great times with her when she was working there. Someone told me that her husband died and that she moved but if anyone is aware that she's still working around here, please, let me know, because I'd go see her in a heartbeat. To my knowledge, Miranda was never on the Landing Strip billboard.

Now, while I don't know anything about managing a strip club, there are certain suggestions I could make that would logically seem to change things.

Problem: Old, fat & ugly women.

Solution: Be more selective about who's allowed to work there.

Problem: Lack of guys coming in.

Solution: Bring better talent in by eliminating or dramatically reducing stage fees for six months or so. While I realize that that they likely won't eliminate the fees, reduce them to $40 or $50 per day, meaning that if you pay it once, you don'thave to pay again, even if you work a double. Word gets around fast and if the girls find out that they only have to pay a small stage fee and nothing else, you'll attract considerably better talent. What you lose in stage fees, you make up in extra drinks being sold because more guys will start coming in when they find out that there are actually attractive women working there.

Problem: Tip out.

Solution: Eliminate the tip out fees to the bouncers and DJ and make sure there is no expectation that the girls need to do this, so the girls go home with even more money in their pocket. Start paying the DJ and bouncers a minimum of $12-15 hour. I don't know what they make but I remember someone telling me that it's $50 cash per night + plus whatever the girls tip them out.

Huge problem: Horrid "VIP" rooms, combined with lack of space.

Solution: Upgrade them and increase the size. Eliminate one booth on each end to add room to the others. Put new tile in and make it a requirement to clean the booths and mop the floor nightly, before going home and in between shifts.

Now, some of you may think this will never work but it works very well. Occasionally, I go out of town and one of my favorite clubs to go to is the Spearmint Rhino in Lexington, Ky and I've talked to some of the girls and here's how it works there. They are considered independent contractors who come and go as they please. There are no tip out fees or expectations of tip out. I was surprised at this and when I asked one of the girls about this, she looked at me like I was crazy, as in: there are places where there is a tip out requirement? She told me that if they have a good night and feel like it, they may throw them $10 or 20 but it's certainly not required. The bouncers and DJs are paid minimum wage. The biggest surprise: There are no stage fees. The back rooms are reasonable too. Decent space size and leather padded couches. The club does well and there are always reasonably attractive women there. I don't ever recall seeing an unattractive girl or porker there.

As far as the Cricket is concerned, if you go on days, you will see some of the old H8's girls, like Nicole and Charlie and additionally, Angelique has been working there. I don't see any of them but if you know H8's, you'll recognize them. For day shift, if I'm in the mood to have a bit of fun, I wing it. There's a much higher percentage of attractive women there, so picking one out and making a deal isn't difficult and that goes the same for nights, if I'm not seeing my regular girl.

I'm not sure what kind of girls you like my default type is a petite girl with a pretty face who has no problem touring Greece. My favorite on night shift like this is Angel. Angel is about 5' tall, probably 120-130, bleached blonde, quite a few tattoos and pierced nipples. I'd go so far to say that she's the major attraction on nights and worth it. You should be able to get her for $120 with a tour to Greece adding an extra $20. I'm not sure she does this with everyone and she's expressed to me that she doesn't but I just put it down to a stripper story and I don't care if she does or doesn't. All I'm interested in is getting mine. I mean, seriously, we all know what we're there for.

The point of my story about Angel to all of you is, as always, YMMV. I'm always entertained when information like this goes out and someone comes back complaining that they didn't get it. My answer is always the same: just because they don't do it with you, doesn't mean that they don't do it with others.

In the last six months, I have made the trip to H8's four times, usually on a whim, after another club disappointed me (BT's the last time, and H8's was a HUGE mistake! I chatted with Raven the last time I was there, on a Friday afternoon. Fairly nice to talk with, but simply not good looking and I had no interest in going to the VIP with her. Montana, for a 40 something girl, is not bad looking, but she is as abrasive as Mia to talk to! A few more minutes of huge women sauntering around and I had to run out of there! Had Deanna (yes, I sound like a broken record) been there, it would have made the talent level increase ten-fold. Which was not hard to do. I am hoping I can stay away.

It was late and I was bored tonight and when you're bored, it's always nice to get some pussy. Since H8's isn't terribly far away from me, I thought I'd go up there and see what was going on. I even went so far as showering off (washing my dick and ass) and getting dressed before I left.

Well, after I was done, I sat down and started thinking to myself that I spend FAR too much time and money in the clubs and AMPs (as in several thousand dollars a year). Then, I thought further, as in who's going to be there? Deanna might or might not but if she isn't, who else would be? I'm not going to see Raven, Mia, Natalie, Montana or Hope and that would be the likely crew for a Tuesday night. Now, three or four years ago, when some of my favorites were there. Such as Tiffany, Destiny, Karissa and Miranda (or any of the other names she went by) and some of the other ones that slip my mind right now were there, I wouldn't have given it a second though and would have gone in a heartbeat. Now, with the "talent" (and I say talent with a heavy dose of sarcasm) that's there, I did something that I can't remember doing in a very long time, if ever. I sat down, took my shoes off, got back into my sweats and stayed home. This decision saved me somewhere between $150 -175.

I guess you could say this really was a win. Unknowingly, H8's management saved me quite a bit of cash and didn't get to realize a profit from me, all because of their failure to bring in reasonably attractive women and get rid of some of the lifers that actually detract from the place. Honestly, who wants to see Raven or Montana dance, unless they're going by the theory that those women are so ugly that it'll drive you to drink just by watching them. I'm just not into old, ugly or fat girls. It seems that they allow anyone who will pay stage fees and work the backroom in there. How are you going to bring in more customers looking at who's there?

Having said all of this, it's not like I won't go back eventually but it will be a Friday or Saturday, in the hopes that some new, semi attractive stragglers or girls from other clubs come in for a change of pace to see what things are like. Granted, they likely won't stay there long but at least I'll be able to see them while they're there.

In the end, typically, I'll do what I've been doing frequently in the last few months. Go in, have one drink and leave in search of decent talent at other clubs. The Silver Cricket has been seeing me far more often lately.

Had Deanna (yes, I sound like a broken record) been there, it would have made the talent level increase ten-fold. Which was not hard to do. I am hoping I can stay away.

You mentioned Miranda. Girl from the Landing Strip billboard, H8's and Legg's of the old days? If so, she waitressed for a short time about three years ago at H8's and looked great. Sadly out of the bar business for good now. You have any recommendations at the Silver Criket on days or nights??

It was late and I was bored tonight and when you're bored, it's always nice to get some pussy. Since H8's isn't terribly far away from me, I thought I'd go up there and see what was going on. I even went so far as showering off (washing my dick and ass) and getting dressed before I left.

Well, after I was done, I sat down and started thinking to myself that I spend FAR too much time and money in the clubs and AMPs (as in several thousand dollars a year). Then, I thought further, as in who's going to be there? Deanna might or might not but if she isn't, who else would be? I'm not going to see Raven, Mia, Natalie, Montana or Hope and that would be the likely crew for a Tuesday night. Now, three or four years ago, when some of my favorites were there. Such as Tiffany, Destiny, Karissa and Miranda (or any of the other names she went by) and some of the other ones that slip my mind right now were there, I wouldn't have given it a second though and would have gone in a heartbeat. Now, with the "talent" (and I say talent with a heavy dose of sarcasm) that's there, I did something that I can't remember doing in a very long time, if ever. I sat down, took my shoes off, got back into my sweats and stayed home. This decision saved me somewhere between $150 -175.

I guess you could say this really was a win. Unknowingly, H8's management saved me quite a bit of cash and didn't get to realize a profit from me, all because of their failure to bring in reasonably attractive women and get rid of some of the lifers that actually detract from the place. Honestly, who wants to see Raven or Montana dance, unless they're going by the theory that those women are so ugly that it'll drive you to drink just by watching them. I'm just not into old, ugly or fat girls. It seems that they allow anyone who will pay stage fees and work the backroom in there. How are you going to bring in more customers looking at who's there?

Having said all of this, it's not like I won't go back eventually but it will be a Friday or Saturday, in the hopes that some new, semi attractive stragglers or girls from other clubs come in for a change of pace to see what things are like. Granted, they likely won't stay there long but at least I'll be able to see them while they're there.

In the end, typically, I'll do what I've been doing frequently in the last few months. Go in, have one drink and leave in search of decent talent at other clubs. The Silver Cricket has been seeing me far more often lately.

I hope the h8's has someone on staff that follows this board, I hope they read your post and make some changes, but I doubt they will. Thanks for posting.
