The article did not detail what was in the Cranston ordinance, and I haven't bothered to research it, as I am not aware of any Cranston locations that are a must do for me.

The ordinance may be signed and just not gone into effect yet, if that's the case, the spas there will be waiting until the last minute to close. If the statewide law goes into effect, then it will be time for the Apartment AMP's, which tend not to be near as much fun for the money, for those of us with the yellow fever.

Obviously you didn't read the ProJo article, according to which the mayor of Cranston has already signed an ordinance. There is also a link to another article about a proposed statewide law which would effectively end " bodywork" establishments.

After reading ad in Backpage thought I would give Sun Massage a go in Cranston. Went in and looked a little grubby but thought what the hell. The woman in her 30's-40's came in and I thought she was the cleaning lady. She was wearing old clothes and had a cold and was continually sniffling and leaving room to blow her nose. I should have left but I was already on table and paid so I stayed. I left with out tip because it was so bad and I thought she was going to chase me down the street. I will never go back to this dump again.

My info is that they are considering measures I view to be draconian. Things like having a government issued I'd and recording the info, semi opaque doors, no nudity etc. Irony is that the ACLU will oppose it.
