She's like my daughter. It's like losing a '15 year old daughter. She had cancer, kidney failure and a heart murmer. Geesh, We've lived in several apts. Together. I found her in the parking lot of the building I lived in. I didn't know I even would like a cat. She was so cute. She followed me and my housemate to my car, being really cute and rolling around, so small and cute. She was an orange female tabby which is rare. Most orange cats are male. My housemate didn't want to take her in, because he thought maybe someone owned her. I told him the next time I see her out alone I'm going to check to see if anyone owns her and I would adopt her. One evening she was hiding under a car when it was raining out. I found out the guy next store didn't want her anymore and abandoned her, so I took her in. Neither me or my housemate new she was pregnant until we had her spayed. The vet said if she had given birth she would have died, because she was too small to give birth. So unfortunately she needed to have an abortion. I decided we needed another cat to keep her company. I saw an ad in the local newspaper listing abandoned kittens for free. Apparently the mother had abandoned her kittens so we adopted the last one. We named him Ganesha. We had him until 2004 until my housemate and best friend died of pancreatic cancer, then he was mine until 2007. One of my house guests and friend fed Ganesha grapes and I didn't know that they were toxic for cats to eat. He ended up getting kidney disease and I had to put him down. I loved cats so much at this point that I bought a full bred occicat I named Lucas after an ex bf. LOL. Occicats look like leopards, all spotted. He's so handsome. I thought I lost him. He snuck out of the apt I was sharing with a couple in the middle of the worst, coldest, snowiest, Vermont winter you can imagine. I found a site called findtoto.com Probably not around anymore, because it located lost pets through calling land lines. Who has a land line these days. Someone called and said he was hanging out on their porch during dinnertime. Sounds like my Lucas, because he loves to eat! Anytime a client comes over I have to remember where he is, because he'll dart out of the door. I most likely would be naked or in linger, will have to get something on and chase after him. I taught him on to lie down and roll over so I can pick him up and bring him into the apt. Again. One time he snuck into the basement and I found him with cobwebs all over his head. Anyway back to Sheeba. I loved how she liked to lick my face when I was sleeping, even though it got annoying. LOL. I loved rubbing her favorite spot on her back right before her tail. She loved that! I loved when she'd cuddle up against me. Also when she'd walk on the keyboard and try to get me off of the computer so I'd pay attention to her. LOL. I noticed the last few days that she wasn't coming to bed with me, but hiding behind the couch. I tried to get her to eat and she ate a little bit and she wouldn't drink anything. I ended up rushing her over the the emergency animal hospital in Woburn. They evaluated her for a few days and pretty much told me I should put her down, although the jerk of a vet wouldn't suggest what was the best for her and got annoyed at me for apparently asking the same question over again. I thought screw it. I'm not putting her down in the emergency room with the rude vet so I made an appointment with my local vet. I prepared. Cashed the check with the remainder of the balance from the animal emergency hospital. I also bought some alcohol. Those small zinfendels and small champagne drinks. I fed her her last meal which she wasn't interested in eating, but she did drink some water and then cuddled with her on the couch with her favorite beach blanket that she likes to take naps on. I then brought the blanket with me to the Vet with her so she'd have something familiar to lay on. The vet did a check up, looked at the paperwork that the animal hospital faxed him and said I should have her put down. I asked if I could at least have another night with her, but he said her breathing was too labored. Anyway Sheeba, I will see you in heaven. And guys, thanks for being regular clients of mine. I wouldn't have been able to afford all this without you guys and I can also afford to grieve for a few days. Thank you!

Like you, I had some serious creds as a contributor some time back, but also like you I had to show some patience before regaining any semblance of street creds. Posting a few comments, no matter how useful, isn't sufficient, but do not give up quite yet. My advice is to hang out for a while, patiently post a few reviews on a board other than the aptly named Massholes, and then you will find a better reception, I am sure. My advice is that you go to an undiscovered AMP or three and post some reviews or send useful PMs to selected Seniors in the area.

Regardless of my history, it is wayyyyyyy to soon for me to judge the board or blast off out of frustrations.
