Been going here every couple weeks for the past two months, located on CM Blvd nestled in between a credit union on one end and Thai restaurant on the other end. Only reason why they are requesting reference is to ensure they don't encounter undercover LEs. I would suggest you to contact them via e-mail and let them know you are a student. Be honest, tell them what you want, then you might have a chance to see those hot asian girls.

There are a couple of Latina / Asian shops in Escondido. Not exactly San Diego proper, but only 30 minutes or so from it. Touch of Health on Grand Ave and VIP at the corner of Ash and Washington. I frequent both, definitely recommend.

You over-paid, and they were taking advantage of your (probably obvious) inexperience.
