I was going to post about this earlier, but kind of got sidetracked, but kind of dovetailing with the current discussion, I think there are a few fakes on the sites as well, possibly paid / manufactured by the site owners.

I've had several "conversations" with some of them, always by email. We'll trade emails, and everything is great, easy conversation, etc. Then when the subject of actually meeting comes up, they go silent. I've encountered quite a few of them, and they all seem to use an email like the first letter of their first name, then a last name, at gmail dot com. Or it will be like susie 20845 at gmail dot com. Their email just looks kind of fake-ish. Plus they usually have about 2-3 pics, and they all seem kind of the same too.

I'm a pretty damn good internet detective (I have some tools that are beyond normal internet snooping) and when I start searching for them, I get nothing. I think those are paid fakes. We don't even talk donation or anything (so it's not situation where they are shopping and found a better SD, imo), but as soon as I mention actually meeting, they ghost, and can find absolutely no trace of them. And I can usually find people online that other people can't. Not saying they are all fakes, if I can't find them. But there's a damn good chance they are.

I've had several that I think are the "get cold feet" variety, but I can actually find them on the internet, and will do a good bit of texting with them. These are the ones that sign up and think it will be cool, easy money, and then when the time comes to meet, they get cold feet. But even these, more often than not, I can find them on the internet, and see they are at least legit, real girls, and have a real phone number and a real address.

I think there are real, legit girls, that get cold feet at the M&G and shut down. But I also think there are some that are just plain fakes. If the girl doesn't give you a phone / text number after exchanging a few emails / messages on the site, imo, she's a fake.

F. in order to better characterize your described pot, I think more details would help. For example, is the pot you are describing brand new to the site? (I have not used sd4 me so don't even know if that kind of info is available). I have found that new pots like the idea of the sugar relationship but find it hard to execute it in real life. Often, and as previously reported by experienced brothers such as yourself, extra sugar sometimes brings those babies to the table.

Also, another much more experienced brother previously posted (cannot remember who) some advice about not letting the electronic communication go in too long or letting things get to juicy in communications before the actual m&g or FC trip. If I remember correctly, the logic was that if communications get too juicy, the pot might later fear not being able to live up to the expectations that are set. I have found that advice to be point on.

Of course without more details it is impossible to tell. Although your five years + of experience in the bowl far outweighs mine, so you have probably didn't need my commentary and also probably considered those thoughts already.

I am two days away from my first 30 days on SA. Due to some serious dental work I had to stop the M&G's for a bit. I will say the overall quality on SA is quite a bit higher than SD4 M in my area. February has been a busy month. Someone, can't remember who, mentioned that in the ebb and flow of the bowl, February tends to be a month where there is more flow. The coed babies seem to be running out of the cash their parents gave to them for the semester.

I went into Feb with three sbs in the rotation. I am going into March with two sbs. I've added two pots to the mix, and am still texting and emailing my college latina pot. Things have changed a bit today.
